First timer, And my dog Bruno "blessed" the front door lol! The ladies at the front desk are super nice and helpful, as well as Brunos Dr. We had a great experience from beginning to end. Bruno went in today for shots and a check up. As I was paying his bill, he decides to "bless" the waiting area, I'd say he likes this place too.

Getting to know a vets office by having to say goodbye to a furry family member can be a nightmare! However Dr. Kittisch (sp?) and the staff at Vacaville Animal Care Center were amazing! I was, of course, a blubbering mess as I said goodbye to Helga, my 15 year old German Wire Haired Pointer, but VACC offered me more compassion then I could have imagined! All the staff here are wonderful. My (several) pets have always been treated with the utmost care and love. One of my cats is very...difficult, and Dr. Behnke has never given up on treating and caring for her. We have had a few animals put to sleep here, and I've always been touched that there are tears in the eyes of the doctor and tech. I've been treated with compassion and care - and they send a lovely card signed by the whole staff. This is a great place! -Robin S.

I love Animal Care Center. Since I was referred to Animal Care Center by a friend many years ago, I have taken all of my pets (one was is severe trouble , septic and required surgery and 2 blood transfusions). The vets have always taken the very best care of my animals. I feel comfortable with their knowledge level, plan of care and expected outcome. Dr. Behnke and Dr. Howard are kind, loving vets who take their time to answer questions, explain treatments and offer ways to save on expensive over the counter aids. They sit on the floor with my dogs, have never even asked or suggested they be muzzled (they are Rottweiler mixes) like other vets I have visited. The staff is wonderfully kind and friendly and very efficient. They don't make you wait for appointments and have always worked with my schedule when I've needed to schedule something urgent. I just brought my brand new bengal kitten in for a exam. I called and scheduled a same day appointment which I didn't think was possible! The staff were super friendly and spend the time to cuddle and play with my kitten. I was called into the office right on time, the doctor was more then helpful she answered all of my questions and gave me advice on the best option for continued care. 'Moving from Laguna Niguel in South Orange County, I had a great veterinarian that I would take HAPA, my bully-pit to. (Mission Viejo Animal & Bird Clinic) When it comes to my dog, I'm very particular when it comes to his health & well being. After all, your pets entire world depends entirely on you, whether it's the quality of dog food, mental/physical exercise, to trust & feeling safe. I love them here! Dr. Behnke is a wonderful rabbit vet, and we've had great experiences with both Dr. Howard and Dr. Garberson with various members of our menagerie. The front staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the clinic's prices (when compared to living in the South Bay...) are very reasonable. So glad these folks are so close to our new home!

This is my vet office of choice. I've been to other vets in the past but since I visited this place I've brought all of my pets here. Staff is super friendly and really care about your pets. They are patient and really take the time to answer all of your questions.
