We brought our elder dog Boots in last week to send him to the rainbow bridge. It was a very hard decision for our family, but the best decision for Bootsie as he has been in a lot of pain. Due to Covid, we let our 2 daughters go in without us which was a very hard decision. My youngest is 15 and this has been obviously difficult. My 13 year old cat, Peaches, took a terrible turn over night. I called multiple vets to try and make an appointment for her to be put to sleep to end her suffering. I was devastated. No one had any open times to help her when I called Vacaville Animal care, they also where booked. The receptionist that answered the phone asked me to hold for a minute, then came back and said they could see me at 10am! I was unbelievably grateful. You have no idea. My husband and I were distraught as we brought in our beloved cat of 17 years to Dr. Lee at Vacaville Animal Care Center, knowing we would be saying goodbye. And, the most compassionate, loving, truly heartfelt care was offered to make her transition to heaven as beautiful and painless as possible. It touched us both deeply. Took my furbaby in for the first time myself (bf took him last time) and I absolutely loved the way we were treated from bookin my appt to end of the actual appt. I got in the same week and was relieved to be able to get in so soon since my dog had a weird rash goin on. My dog is very nervous and literally shakes from anxiety but the staff was so kind to him and really did their best to get him calm. I have been taking my animals to Animal Care Center for over 40 years. Dr. Barnes cared for my animals until he retired. Now I go to Dr. Lee she is as good as Dr. Barnes was. She is so gentle and caring with my fur babies. I can't imagine taking my animals to another Vet. She is the best.

Dr. Behnke always takes great care of my rats everyone is always pleasant when I come in and I would definitely recommend Dr. Behnke if you have small animals!

Throughout the years we have used Vacaville Animal Care Center. We have had several dogs and cats that they have looked after. Recently, we had to have our dog, Petey, put down. They have always been so caring with both health issues and the crossing over the rainbow bridge. I can't say enough about the caring and compassion of both the vets and their staff.

Dr LEE is a wonderful vet and very caring for the care of my poodle Gracie.. Dr Lee is very friendly ,understanding and knowledgeable to my dogs care .. Dr Lee is an awesome vet and I put her up there with Dr Barnes and I had been coming to Animal care since I was 11 yrs old and now I am 54 so tells you how long I have been a client ...

I am at ease when I take my pet into the office knowing they will get the best of care from our Vet., Dr. Michelle Lee, the technicians, and front desk. They have been kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and friendly. To me now as a senior, it is important that they are helpful with my pets and me both. Our family have been seeing Dr. Lee for many years.
