They are not consistent or personalized in caring of one, let alone, two, dogs. For the price that you're paying , you will get better service out of PetSmart, Daly City. On several different occasions, the providers failed to realize there were 2, yes I said TWO, separate dogs seating in the same room. On both occasions I had to call the facility to make sure that they provided bed space for both of my huskies. Their staff failed to recognize the room only had one bed, or didn't bother to check. Please read before taking your dog here - huge safety issue!! I brought my dog in for a trial all day play day, and within the first hour on the webcam I saw an employee strike two separate dogs rather hard with an open hand. I also saw him aggressively grab and pull another dog to the ground and hit that dog as well. I pulled my dog out of there and spoke to the manager who said hitting was grounds for immediate termination. Something felt off, so I filed a report with animal control. I really wanted love this location for wags because when I booked here I found out that this location is 24 hours which I thought was cool. I used to live by the Santa Clara location and have boarded my dogs with no issues. So, for this location I had a couple issues which is worth mentioning for other dog parents. So, my dogs have been indoor dogs for about a year now. I have one dog who is super obidient and one dog who is three and is still learning. Brought our 4 1/2 month old puppy over - we'd had good experiences with our 10 year old pit bull there. But, NOPE!! He was COVERED in pee (not all his)! He was starving (we left plenty of food for two meals) and he could not calm down for awhile when he got home (in a stressed way, not a playful way). I brought my dog here while we went to Disneyland and we asked the place to set up my dog for all day play for three days so she could interact with other dogs. On our trip down to LA we decided to look at the cameras and they had kept our dog in the room by herself for the whole day. we had to call but the place wouldn't answer and by 7 pm we called again to complain that they weren't doing anything with our dog. I went for a tour and let me tell you... one section of the dogs rooms were so cold like don't their heaters work or something? I would not leave my dogs in a cold room. All that money they make for what.
Negligent, lazy, inconsiderate, and irresponsible are the nicest words I could use to describe this awful place. My dog went there for his first day of daycare. I understand it's important to correct dogs if they misbehave and I admit my dog can be quite rambunctious. But that doesn't warrant a FOUR HOUR time out in a small tiny room with no interactions. Took my puppy, watched him on the camera and they put him in with the large dogs. One person for 25 dogs. Several dogs were humping and no one was paying attention. The person filling the pool and water bowls wet the dogs and didn't care, it was 50 degrees outside. When I picked up my dog his back legs had blood on them, he was sprayed with some nasty smell spray and they also told me he was on an hour "time out" because he was too rambunctious....did they not read the questionnaire I filled out? My problems started when I tried to check in. I was told that my reservation was for the Oakland location and that Redwood City was full. The clerk was extremely rude - essentially telling me that I was out of luck. When I showed her the email confirmation for Redwood City, she told me that there "must be a mistake." Since I was leaving town the next day, I needed for them to step up. Finally, after about 20 minutes on the computer, the receptionist said they could take my dog, but in a smaller room than I had reserved.... read more
