Dr. Lee to the rescue AGAIN. After a weekend of really scary stomach issues, three ER visits later - my Chihuahua got an emergency appointment with Dr. Lee. I knew that once we saw Dr. Lee things would be under control. This woman is beyond any measure of professional, brilliant, humble, caring...I could continue. So I made an appointment for the first time this week it was an emergency for me as my cat Lulu hadn't improved since I ended up at a 24 hour vets, they kindly fitted me in, did a lot of tests and basically Lulu was in a bad way, her results were terrible, I put her to sleep that morning which was heartbreaking but I want to say I've never dealt with more kind and compassionate people who gave me the time to decide what was best for her, the vet dr smith gave me his honest opinion on her outcome, I just received in the pos... read more

I can't say enough about this practice. I've had many dogs throughout the years and experienced some awful veterinarians who either had big egos or who were always finding ways to pad the bill. While vet care certainly isn't cheap, especially in Manhattan, I've found W Village to be very upfront about potential costs and never try to guilt me into shelling out a lot of $. I appreciate my animals being seen on time, getting differential diagnoses before test results are back, & detailed explanations of findings. The printed cardiology reports I receive of each echocardiogram my cardiac cat has had here by Dr. Petrie are the ONLY detailed reports I have ever received, despite having had him for 9 years prior to bringing him to this practice. I truly wish I'd found Dr Elliot a little sooner! She is tremendously compassionate and honest. My cat was very close to end of life and many holistic vets refused to see her because of this. She passed and even after a necropsy at AMC there is still no answer why. In the few visits we had I know that my cat felt relief, I think it was the Chiropractic care she was given. They are THE BEST. Took my cat there twice and everyone is so nice. Dr. Hildenbrand is so so sweet with my cat and the visits are stressfree. The prices are very affordable. They gave my cat a complimentary claw trim. The BEST

My regular Vet's office temporarily closed because of a COVID scare, I was faced last night with a severe case of diarrhea from my 12-year old Molly. So severe it got me on the street at 2 & 4AM. Anyway, I called them and they got me in at 8:30AM. Fixed her up in no time, answered all my questions, said she was cute, and home we came. They are professional and accommodating. And THERE if you need them. Quite a find. I'm delighted.

My cat was a patient of Dr. Hildenbrand since June 2020 and there aren't enough words to describe how special she is. She was kind, caring, compassionate and never rushed the appointments. Because of COVID no one is allowed inside except staff, but on the day of the appointments she would call to go over what was planned and after she examined my cat, she would call to discuss her findings and what treatment was needed. I just got a new puppy and have had many questions and concerns around my new pup's habits and health. The staff at West Village Vets has been so kind, reliable, honest and helpful. Dr. Hildenbrand has helped navigate my questions around puppy care and also been extremely communicative when I seek advice around my pup's treatment and general health.
