I have nothing but amazing things to say about this practice. From the receptionists, to the nurses, to vets - everyone here is extremely friendly and genuinely caring. I was here pretty frequently, and the entire staff took interest in my cat and were just so supportive and awesome towards me every time i was there. I've been going to WVVH for over five years for everything from routine check ups to emergency visits and am very happy with all the doctors in the office. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and they have excellent availability for busy New Yorkers including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The doctors always make an effort to explain things thoroughly - I've never felt rushed or that things were glossed over and they are very patient with questions. My pets have been seeing Jill Elliot since 1998. I've never known a more skilled, caring, and thoughtful primary care practitioner. Besides the usual assessments, tests and prescriptions, Elliot does first-rate chiropractic adjustments and homeopathy. Her referrals for surgeons (spay/neuter/orthopedics) have been wonderful.

If I could give 10 stars to Dr. Jill Elliott, I would!!! Two weeks ago, my 9.5 year old dog was admitted in an ER in NJ having lost the ability to use his back legs due to a herniated disc. I was told he needed immediate surgery ($15k) and most likely would never walk again on his own. He came home from a 3-day stay at the hospital drugged up, unable to move or control his legs, his peeing and his bowel movements. We thought we would have to say goodbye. I found myself with an emergent situation regarding our 15 yr old family cat at 20 minutes before closing time on Sunday. Heidi was extremely compassionate and understanding over the phone -and actually said -come on in. I was both shocked and elated, as no other vets within 5 miles of Chelsea were still open at this hour. Dr Hildenbrand was amazing as was her aide and all the staff. Took great care of our two cats and put us at ease. Explained everything. Could not have been more caring or professional. Just a great experience--in line with previous visits.

Good place but inflated prices , but that seems to be everywhere in NYC (cost me 1200 dollars to get all my puppies vaccines)

I took my 16 year old cat to West Village Vet as he started to feel ill and was then diagnosed with renal kidney failure. While getting news of your cat's deteriorating health is never pleasant, the team at West Village Vet made it as comforting as possible. Aside from my cat's well being, one of my main concerns was running into an exorbitantly high vet bill as one should expect with such an illness. This is the best place for superior Veterinary care in NYC! I've been around a long time and have had many pets and this place is the most professional service by far! Veterinary care is big business! Don't waste your time or money or you pets lives going elsewhere! They are open 7 days a week in addition!
