Gets stuck in certain locations within the pool I was originally pleased with this vacuum. However, over time, the vacuum has found location's of the pool where it gets stuck. It will stay in that spot until I physically go remove it to get it moving again; and then 10-15 minutes later, it will be right back in the same location. I have tried everything from rebuilding the unit with new tracks, etc. cleaning filters, adjusting suction. Nothing works. A complete kit not just the machine Got more than I bargained for. I guess I didn’t read the fine print. Besides the machine I received a half dozen or so hoses including one that attaches to the machine and 2 pieces that attach to the wall suction port. It had a gadget that makes it possible to use the wall skimmer if you lack the wall suction port.
Slow and steady It’s slower than our previous Zodiak which is good! The faster one would get stuck in corners and actually started to damage our pool. This one is slow and steady and does a great job!
Good pool cleaner. This is my 2nd MX6. It dies a good job keeping my pool clean and free of leaves. It scoots around between the deep and shallow ends of the pool and even climbs the walls. My previous one only lasted maybe three seasons so that needs to be considered if you get one.
Great product so far, very happy Note that I've only so far used this for one cleaning session after setup.The setup and assembly were relatively easy. I don't have a suction line, but rather a basket skimmer that is designed to catch any kind of leafy debris before the second finer-mesh basket at the pump intake. I was able to fit my existing vacuum basket adapter onto the Zodiac's flow regulator. Unfortunately, the flow regulator sat above water, and it leaks/sucks air. Cleans entire pool, without my constantly moving the pool sweep to another section of the pool. Great price, delivered on time, works wonderfully well.
