Service and tech support is good. The phone service overall is good, but the phones occasionally crash--sometimes in the middle of an important call.
I will never miss an important call because I can setup which calls to forward to my cell. I love this system/

We are a small all volunteer non-profit. We have four lines in four houses for taking calls. It is wonderful to not have to put our personal phone numbers in newspaper articles. We still get calls on our home phones although we have had 8X8 for over a year. It is great to be able to set up business hours so we no longer get calls at 11 at night or 7 in the morning. 8x8 is always awesome!
My small business, which now has about 20 phones, has been a 8x8 user for about 7 years and until recently the issues have been manageable. Recently we encountered severe compatibility problems with 8x8 phones and Comcast highspeed internet access. 8x8 is not compatible with the standard gateway cable modem typical installed by Comcast. 8x8 solution to this problem is to request Comcast to install a single port stand alone cable modem and then configure a stand alone router to sit behind the cable modem. I had telephone units from another VoIP company that was charging me too much, and when I called to reprogram my phones I came across James Lee. James was very patient and listen good to my every question and gave me a confident answer. I thought I got on his nerve a couple of times, but he was just listening. After a long 2 hours call, my system was running and I couldn't be happier. Saved me from buying new phones too.
In the industry I am in the telephone is the most important tool. Without it we would be like a fish out of water. 8x8 provides us with a reliable system that is more than capable in handling our needs and is making us a more efficient and cost saving company. Besides the telephone system we also use their facsimile service and are using less paper than ever before because of it. And when needed the customer service at 8x8 is second to none.
