What I really love about 8x8 is its accessibility and ease of use. In the office I can directly call from my computer using my Virtual Office Desktop application for my Windows PC and during in-transit while walking on foot, riding a train or at the airport I use my Android phone to make calls without worrying of having a desk phone or a PC. 8x8 saved the day when I was out of the office and without my cell phone. With 8x8 Virtual Office I was able to get in to important meetings from the coffee shop without a hassle!
I absolutely love how we were able to remove having multiple bills for long distance, conference calls, phone service, maintenance coverage; all were eliminated! VoIP does it all!!
We had an Avaya Analog system that was hard wired in the office. The system was being run by a desktop computer with XP running with 2 gigs of ram. Now I don't have to remote in to that ancient computer and wait for it to reboot after changes to the system have been made or deal with the patch panel of poorly marked terminals to install a new phone extension. 8x8's VOIP made it much easier to manage the lines.

For starters we saved over $300 per month from our old traditional phone plan. However, we were having an issue with our 8x8 VOIP system and our representative, Robert Wells, that was working on an existing problem for us, called me to let me know that he had this escalated to an upper level – he was on his way to the ER and still followed up with me to let me know what was going on.
One of the things about having a VoIP service that is truly available 24x7 is the support. Not only is there regular call in support available, but you have on-line support, email support , phone support etc. For me it's been a huge help because we have so much information being used from the 8x8 phone call repository.
