As a member of a distributed workforce, I know that I can reach my colleagues with one number, whether they are at their home office, onsite with clients, or traveling.
The "concierge" type of support given to us to get us started.
NOTHING!!!!! It has been a major step backwards in our phone service. There are too many restrictions, it is almost impossible for current customers to figure out how to get ahold of someone on an extension. They just hang up. I've even been frustrated trying to call my office from the field. Internet based is not good if you don't have strong internet and we don't at this location. When the Internet goes down. We get some peace and quite. No phone calls to bother us.
Actually we do not love it at all, the connection is patchy at most times and it is not fit for purpose as a communication tool for business purposes.
The ability to chat/IM fellow employees. Transfer directly to voice mail. Indication of availability including typing a note. Also, enjoy the app for cell phone usage.
The flexibility of accessing the phone system on a variety of devices
Numerous outages, poor voice quality, unable to forward phone, cannot use directory.
