I have not had a good experience with 8x8. I have a home office, and have been on the phone for hours with customer support. All the people have been amazing - helpful, patient, delightful. However, my company is paying for service and equipment I can't use. It's been a disappointment. I gave up - my bad for not following through. This seemed like an opportunity to share. Our business loves the daily organization tools 8x8 offers, as well as how simple and fast it is to communicate to our coworkers! Emails never take too long to get through to our colleagues, and we can bring our office anywhere, through the virtual tools!

Our business loves that 8x8 works 24/7. Plus it provides called ID so it's not difficult to call back an important customer.

We do not love it at all. It has been a headache from day one. We did not get our area phone numbers. The caller id states Tekamah, NE and should have been Tecumseh, NE our customers are wondering why they are getting calls from another town. The fax machines do not work. We get complaints all the time. Calls are dropped. Can't answer the phone. Customer service is awful, we spend hours on the phone trying to fix it but it doesn't get fixed.

The fast deployment! We separated from our parent practice and only had a few weeks to get our new physician's office up and running. The entire staff was stressed over the separation and migration. Thankfully the phone systems was not part of that stress. With 8x8's ease of implementation, the Unified Communications Services was up and running in under an hour. What I love most about this system is the group voicemail capability. On our old system, only one person received after hours messages. If that individual was not in that day, we had to call them and get their password to access the messages. With 8x8, the messages come across all phones and anyone can access them. Big value out of a less known player in a market of household names. Hopefully support is just as good because I'm about to call them.
