Not only will it work poorly, it will enrage you the entire time. This is among the worst products I have ever purchased. The hardware is fine, it's the software that renders it unusable. The majority of the settings just don't get applied, and when they do they aren't stored so you'll have to navigate the worst user interface since 1997 if you want to set it all again. I know Brother makes good, long-lasting products I know Brother makes good, long-lasting products, but this one is HORRIBLE. I dread scanning on this because I know I'll have to scan over and over again without the pages clumping up. Sometimes, the thing can't even take 8 pages! Why do I have to sit here for 25 minutes trying to scan 8 pages??? I'm trying to run a business. I bought 2 of these thinking it would speed up the work. I just dread it. Good luck. Good scanner but frustrating to use sometimes. Using this scanner is often frustrating. I had this setup to email me the pdfs, but it often says that it runs out of memory, when scanning a two or three page document. So I have to scan using a usb instead. Not a show stopper but annoying when it has the capability to scan and email. When I used it last I had to factory reset it because it would not scan anything.

80% of Documents require re-scanning, sometimes multiple times. I bought this scanner to make capturing documents more efficient and hassle free, but my experience has been the opposite. The biggest issue is that I have to scan documents multiple times because it always misses a page or two in the stack. It grabs two pages at a time so I constantly have to check to make sure the total number captured matches the document. Scanning few papers is headache, if one gets stuck ... Scanning few papers is headache, if one gets stuck cant delete from the ones scanned sucessfully, had to redo from start. You cant preview the scanned pdf untill you save it.
One Star Takes minutes, MINUTES to scan a page in duplex mode. Throwing it away and getting Fujitsu or Epson.

Can't recommend I really hate this machine. I've had it for 6 months so I have had plenty of time to form an opinion. We are a small business that scans around 50-100 pages a day. This thing jams all the time and is unreliable. I gave it two stars because it scans really fast when it works and it was relatively easy to connect over wifi to 6 different computers. Multipage Issue Received my new ADS1500W in February 2017. A friend whose identical model has performed well recommended it. Mine does everything well except feed multipage docs one page at a time. Always feeds at least two or more pages together. I scan so infrequently, I didn't discover this for several months. Because of my lack of need for multipage scanning (very rare), have decided to live with it (hand feed it) at this late date rather than deal with the hassle of returning. Buyers beware.
