They don't deserve the 1 star, but Yelp doesn't allow 0 stars. Stay AWAY from this company. We had a pod to fill up. The moving crew did nothing to pack in a smart way and then just left, over an hour before the time we paid for. They did call once while packing saying everything wouldn't fit in the pod. We understood some things may not fit and told them to get what they could in the pod. Once that was full we said it was fine to put everytihng else on the main level in the living room. To start, the crew texted me asking for a $150 tip per person before they even got there. They scratched the front of my refrigerator Almost immediately, then scratched and dented my floor at my new house. They filled up their truck and I still had to make 4 trips with a truck and trailer. They did not disassemble or re assemble anything, I did it all because they couldn't figure it out. They quoted my apartment move in midtown Kansas City $400, then it ended up being $1000. One man overly wrapped everything to take longer, at one point they just made phone calls and waited around. After some time, they informed me that I had to tell them to unload the vehicle and that's why they had just stopped for so long. So that was probably 25-30 minutes wasted. Extremely dissatisfied. Company missed represented pricing. They quoted me at 350 ended up being over 750. I priced searched to find the best moving company in the KC area and chose all my sons because of their quote. I recently came accross this review "On 9/17/21 I used All My Sons Moving for a small move. Five 1/2 city blocks, studio to studio, no large appliances. I don't know how a moving company can function the way they do. I booked them over a month before the date. I put down the required $100 deposit and everything! Three days prior to the day of my supposed service I got a call and confirmed all the details. One strange thing that was said on the phone is " I'm just trying to see why you have such a low hourly rate, ohh it's because you booked over a month ago" not sure why he even needed to look into that. My mother paid almost $1200 for the movers to arrive a day late, and not pack the whole house up. Jimmy Pennington, the Branch Manager, did not contact us to resolve the issue as the scheduler, Sean had promised. My Mother ended up completing the move herself, with a U-Haul, so she did not have to push back the closing date on her house. Paying almost $1500 to move when the job was not done. I will not recommend this moving company. I've been hung up on as well as waited for call back and it's just disappointing. I talked to 2 people and haven't even got an answer on my questions. I was told that the manager would call back and it never happened. I'm somewhat happy that All my sons wasn't a good fit because I went with Firehouse moving.delivery and I must say they're amazing. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Charge way too much for what I have to move. One heavy piece of furniture and the rest my grandsons and I can do. Rude, do not try to understand the customer and what is required. It is all about lining their pockets and to heck with elderly, veterans, and disabled people. I believe they would charge their family members to move them.
