After booking this service, I had to callback to cancel within 30 minutes because our move wasn't ready. I was told on the phone and email that the deposit was refundable. On the phone I was assured the service was canceled and ask for a confirmation to be sent. Not receiving a confirmation I replied via email to the original booking confirming the phone cancellation. Again no response and yes, this group went ahead and processed the deposit and has refused to refund. Buyer beware.

Do not trust this company! Quoted me $387 to move 3 miles 5 weeks before move. 4 days before move they call and say it will cost $650. They promise to arrive between 11 to 1. On moving day @ 1:30 I started to panic thinking I would have to find another company & called to ask when they were coming. The man who answered was very rude & told me 3pm. I hired All My Sons for a small move from Kansas City to Chicago--filled out the forms, bought insurance, etc. They didn't show up. They didn't answer the phone. I had to hire another mover in a hurry (Sunflower Moving and Storage) which broke everything. Avoid both these movers at all costs.

These people are thieves. We had them move us and over $1500 worth of shoes were stolen. We have filed a claim and it's been two months and have received no feedback. We will be filing a small claims court suit against them soon. Do not use these people!

BEWARE! As you read other reviews, note that most bad reviews are from senior citizens or older people: I am also older and believe this company takes advantage of vulnerable people based on my experience. Either communication between the office and the movers is abysmal, or they lie about what one has told the other. This is a time-waster and you are being charged to settle this 3-party squabble between you, the movers, and the office. Schedule a move 2 months in advance and Jimmy canceled on me last minute before Memorial Day weekend. He provided one excuse about having bigger bids from out of state and then another about COVID which seemed to be his scapegoat. After explaining my situation about my lease ending Tuesday June 1st , Jimmy said he'd see what he could do as a couple on Sunday hadn't confirm their move and would Calle back by end of day.... I can't recommend All My Sons. They just moved me and: There's missing shade on my floor lamp - broken or lost. I don't know what they did with the small bookshelf from my bedroom. My winter coats are still in the closet at the old place (Maybe they expected those those to be boxed.) There are a number of small items they completely overlooked.

Worst experience ever! It took over three hours for a one bedroom apartment. We had everything ready. They basically moved a bedroom set, living room set and barstools. We had moved all but 15 boxes. They didn't get everything because I needed leave after 2 hours to meet my landlord. One of the movers was fairly nice but the other was rude. They took a "detour" on the mile and a half drive to my new apartment. I was quoted $475 for everything and it ended up being $746!!!! do not use!

This is an awful company. I called 4 days before my move to confirm. Yes on the books. They called me two days before my move with times they'll be by for the move. Today the day of the move they called to say they can't do the move because the crew didn't show up. All he said was "sorry". If I'm not out of my place today it'll cost me 2k. Worst company. DO NOT USE THEM!
