BEWARE! As you read other reviews, note that most bad reviews are from senior citizens or older people: I am also older and believe this company takes advantage of vulnerable people based on my experience. Either communication between the office and the movers is abysmal, or they lie about what one has told the other. Schedule a move 2 months in advance and Jimmy canceled on me last minute before Memorial Day weekend. He provided one excuse about having bigger bids from out of state and then another about COVID which seemed to be his scapegoat. After explaining my situation about my lease ending Tuesday June 1st , Jimmy said he'd see what he could do as a couple on Sunday hadn't confirm their move and would Calle back by end of day.... I can't recommend All My Sons. They just moved me and: There's missing shade on my floor lamp - broken or lost. I don't know what they did with the small bookshelf from my bedroom. My winter coats are still in the closet at the old place (Maybe they expected those those to be boxed.) There are a number of small items they completely overlooked.
Worst experience ever! It took over three hours for a one bedroom apartment. We had everything ready. They basically moved a bedroom set, living room set and barstools. We had moved all but 15 boxes. They didn't get everything because I needed leave after 2 hours to meet my landlord. One of the movers was fairly nice but the other was rude. They took a "detour" on the mile and a half drive to my new apartment. I was quoted $475 for everything and it ended up being $746!!!! do not use!
This is an awful company. I called 4 days before my move to confirm. Yes on the books. They called me two days before my move with times they'll be by for the move. Today the day of the move they called to say they can't do the move because the crew didn't show up. All he said was "sorry". If I'm not out of my place today it'll cost me 2k. Worst company. DO NOT USE THEM!
Movers were late, and did not wear masks. The company's practice of having you sign documents before completion is sneaky and unethical so if damage is done during move there is no paperwork. Two movers were so busy wanting to get home they did not fully remove covers and ended up dropping furniture and scratching hard wood floor, they were not apologetic and just said they were tired. MOVERS BEWARE!!!!! If I didn't have to give no review star, I would have. All my Sons Moving is the worst Co. I have ever used that has no respect for your personal belongs, i contacted management about the damaged on my furniture and he said he sent three of his best movers, if that's his best, I hate to see his worst. the Co. put me off for two months before they even got back with for damages done, the Co. will give you an estimate and then charge close to double for the amount for the move. Don't use this Co.will be so
HORRIBLE! They cancelled 2 days before we were supposed to move after putting down a deposit. Ridiculous!
The quoted price was way off, I was not given the service I was promised, they didn't take my bed apart because they do not carry an Allen-wrench as they told me is not a common tool to have! I'm like what? So I had to do that on my own on the following day, and had to borrow a truck and take to my destination, so an hour of my day was lost because they failed to do what they promised me!
