PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING. I opted to use All My Sons to move a 2 bedroom apartment plus a 5 x 10 storage unit. I was quoted $900 and at least 3-4 hours job time with 3 movers. I found that to be doable considering I didn't have much but boxes and furniture. Moving day came and the team showed up in time and began working. "DO NOT HIRE!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! This company is SO poorly managed. They promise one thing and do the exact opposite. I'm surprised they haven't been shut down yet. Clearly zero training was involved. So many things went wrong with my move: Showed up with no tools. Had to use mine. I told them an item wouldn't fit through the door frame. They wrapped it anyways. DO NOT EVER USE.....I was quoted 349 hr with 2 hour minimum plus fuel surcharge. this I agreed to. 6 hours later they said my bill was over 4000. when I didn't have the money because it only should have been 2200 these thieves wanted to dump my property on the side of the road. they broke furniture and offered 60 cent per pound. bullshit brand new table with tags on it and a antique desk and the offer was 175.

I highly recommend that you do your due diligence looking at this company and its practices prior to booking with them. I really wish I had done more research and looked at these reviews on Yelp. I was fooled by the many high reviews on Google, but I think many of the 5-star reviews on Google are pretty suspect, considering how many people supposedly know all the names (and last name/initials?!) of everyone on the moving crew. They must pay the Dallas Cowboys A LOT of money for the 'movers of the Cowboys' ads they have. ... read more

DO NOT USE the McKinney Texas office of All My Sons Moving. Terrible service, especially to a former customer. They send out day laborers with no moving experience, in rental trucks, use old fashion carbon copy credit/debit card authorization (financial security risk). These day laborers then spend their time on personal phone calls mostly, not wrapping and moving your stuff. They have no clue as to how to wrap, pack and move furniture and whatever! I was initially verbally quoted an hourly rate of $148/hour to unload my uhaul truck. Upon unloading day, the crew showed up and explained the total costs. The rate was actually $189 per hour with a two hour minimum charge, a $189 travel fee, and $102 in fuel charge. Total cost of unloading was $670 for 45 minutes of labor. I did not receive any breakdown or BOL before move day explaining these additional charges or from my initial scheduling of the service. I hired All My Sons Moving to move from a smaller to a larger storage unit across town. The. guys showed up and we're slow and lazy. They were more interested in talking and joking around with each other than with working hard. They loaded up the truck with my belongings in a very unprofessional way - these guys had no training. This was the absolute worst moving company I have ever dealt with. I have moved quite a lot during my lifetime and this was the worst company I have ever worked with. My piano has deep scratches that I'm not sure can ever be fixed, pins for the piano were missing/lost, they forgot to pick items up and left them at the original site (and never moved them), and the movers clearly had little to no experience. When I scheduled the move, they called and told me they would charge $179/hr plus 18% of the total for "fuel". The move took 3.5 hrs ($626.50) and they charged $144.99 as the fuel charge. They then tacked on $179 for a travel time charge and $103 for packing materials including $40 for 1 roll of stretch wrap (I work at a packaging company and we charge $10/roll for the exact same quality wrap).
