I'm not surprised to see the poor reviews here, unfortunately it's too late. After being quoted over the phone (huge mistake, get it in writing!), we wound up paying $400 over the quoted price. Even if we were lying about the quote, it turns out All My Sons charged $200 - $300 more than 3 other local moving companies I called today. The exact same details were given regarding the logistics. We used this company to move a mere 65 miles - a mistake I will never make again. First, we were given an hourly quote for a 4-man crew that would have placed our price range around $2000. Less than a week before the scheduled move the local operator called us and said we had been quoted wrong and that because the move was more than 30 miles we would be given a quote that was by the job, not by the hour. After paying $1400 for a move, the movers not only didn't get all our stuff but they destroyed a treadmill, damaged a couch, damaged walls on our brand new home, damaged an exercise bike, and I witness them throwing, and sliding boxes down the ramp of the truck, resulting in many broken items. All in all I am out thousands of dollars in damages plus my time to go back to the previous house to finish the move.

Highway Robbery. Abuse of the hourly rate system and underhanded extra fees not properly explained. On 10/20/22 this company charged me a total $950 to move a one bed/one bath second floor apartment (with direct elevator access) to a two bed/two bath first floor apartment 8 MILES AWAY. I had a small one bed/one bath to move 8 miles across town. The movers would take down a piece of furniture, vanish for 10-15 minutes, then come up for the next one. Scheduled a move from one apartment to another apartment in the same building about 3 to 4 weeks in advance for August 29th was told verbally between 12 and 4 PM arrival time for the movers the day of the move I called early morning to confirm if they're going to arrive around lunchtime so I then can make the errands that I need to do before they come was told rudely by a staff member that and I quote will call you when we're getting ready to come to you. My move has been a disaster. I hired movers with All My Sons to pack and move my belongings into a Pod. After dealing with them showing up late and leaving early without finishing multiple times, I am fed up with this company. I dealt with three different teams of movers and rude customer service. The second team was actually good, but the previous delay messed up their schedule. Unless you enjoy needless stress and headaches, I recommend using a different moving company.

Not reliable!! Cancelled multiple of times and provided no updates. The manager was extremely rude. The most unprofessional company ever. Do not recommend.

never use this company. they will damage your furniture or appliances and wont pay you back. even if you get insurance, they wont pay not even half of what youve paid in your furniture. they are terrible and sooooooooooooooo unprofessional. never use them!!! ever!!!
