I hired All My Sons to move me from Wake Forest, NC to Charlotte, NC on 5/18/24 which resulted in the police being called on them for larceny and destruction of personal property due to their willful negligence. After they arrived many hours later than expected, I was told I needed to pay the full balance of over $2,000 before they would unload my belongings from the moving truck which I paid via credit card over the phone. DO NOT USE THEM!!! The charge for boxes, clothes hangers, etc that they pack inside your boxes. (For REAL). THE WORSE PART IS THIS: The load your furniture, it gets badly damaged, ONLY YOU DO NOT KNOW THIS BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM BEFORE THEY WILL UNLOAD YOUR FURNITURE TO SEE THAT THEY HAVE DAMAGED IT. Horrible Company! Choose another company! I can't believe they are still in business! They took my $ and didn't give me the service. I have to now take legal matters.
My daughter's best friend got ripped off by this company. They moved six totes already packed, a dresser, bed frame and mattress and 2 TVs basically across the street from a first floor apartment to another first floor. It took them 2.5 hours and they damaged her antique dresser her grandfather built. One was touching her arm inappropriately. They insisted on putting her bed together even though she said no. DO NOT USE! I've moved many times and never had an experience like we had with All My Sons. Everything about the move (settling on a time), during the move (slow, billed for time that was incorrect and MUCH more), and the worst part was the lack of concern by the company when our concerns were expressed Don't put your move in their hands. VERY VERY VEY DISSATISFIED!!!
I would NOT recommend All My Sons moving company to anyone considering a moving Company. What was the most interesting thing about our experience with All My Sons was how awful it was, before, during, and after the move. Thieves. They stole over $20k of goods put into their storage by themselves. Take them to court and you will win and then get the run around stalling payment through their attorney any way they can. Waste of time and money with AMS Moving & Storage in Raleigh. DO NOT TRUST. "Several workers fired for stealing" that says it all coming from their management.
Unfortunately, overall not a great experience. First let me say that the crew they sent were great guys and hard workers, and they tried their best. I had hurt my leg during my move, so had to seek an alternative. So, I booked for a same day move of about 500 ft. from one apartment to the other and asked that they be equipped with the supplies to wrap dishes, etc.. Want to roll the dice on the protection of your furniture and house? - then use All My Sons Moving in Raleigh, NC. All My Sons failed to protect wood floors in two homes -severely gouging floors in both homes through poor handling. Also damaged bedroom doorway by attempting to move through a chair clearly to move through upright.
