I had a small move and was told that I could get it done in under 2 hours limit. It was obvious that the movers were stalling to get the price of the move increased to over 2 hours. They broke a desk leg - the desk was small and light, but the cost was around $250, the company offered me $50 refund for breaking the desk.

Truly the worst group of ppl. They took my deposit, sent me document to sign, sent me an itinerary with everything except for a time. When I reached out twice via email and via text yesterday (my move was supposed to be today) asking what time they were coming. I called again this morning, only to be told that my move was randomly canceled days ago. With no notice or refund of deposit. This company is a disgrace!!! My daughter hired them And gave a deposit and on the morning of the move she called to see what time they were coming and they informed her her move was canceled!!! She has not received her deposit back. They are horrible people to do this to anyone!! Do not use this company and I will tell everyone I know the same. My daughter is extremely upset and so am I. How do you run a company like this??!!!

I rarely write a review; however, the service I received for my move in April 2021 was absolutely horrible.  If there was a way to give zero stars, I would.  I was provided an estimate of $4,100 to pack and move a 1,600 sq. ft. house approximately 2.5 miles. By the time the truck got to my new home the charges were up over $6,000. They refused to unload the truck until I handed over my credit card.  I spoke numerous times to the office who assured me that they would "take care of everything". DO NOT USE! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!We had a move with AMS Moving on 9/7. The guys who showed up were good. No issues there. My belongings were supposed to be held for 24 hours and delivered the next day. The appointment time came and went. After 2 hours of waiting we were told that the mover had had a "hard move" earlier in the day and wanted to go home. They would come tomorrow. They had my stuff. If I could give 0 starts I would. 2 months in advanced I scheduled a move from my apartment in Philadelphia to Boston with Rick from All my sons. They seemed to be very nice and reasonably priced. Just to be noticed 3 days before my visit that they were unable to carry out my move because "one of their trucks got into an accident, leaving several employees in the hospital." Seemed like a good company based on their customer service and how nice the movers were. Unfortunately they damaged multiple pieces of my furniture and put a hole in the wall. Not one apology from any of the guys! I filed a complaint and was told to take pictures and someone would come out to assess the damages. 7 weeks went by and no one came out. I rarely complain about any kind of service in 2020/ 2021. Its been a rough year & a half for everyone. However this company caused me so much frustration, strain & money for both my family and the family moving into my home. We were scheduled for a Friday, booking ahead a month in advance. First things first, the movers who come and move your stuff are EXCELLENT! They are professional, courteous, and careful. If only they were running the company. When I made me appointment, I was quoted $164.00 an hour with 2 hour minimum move time. To me, that sounds like $328.00 to move some furniture pieces. When they've got your stuff on the truck you find out that. No, 2 hours of travel is time it takes to get to and from your location. So your move actually costs $601.00 to get it off the truck.
