If I could give 0 starts I would. 2 months in advanced I scheduled a move from my apartment in Philadelphia to Boston with Rick from All my sons. They seemed to be very nice and reasonably priced. Just to be noticed 3 days before my visit that they were unable to carry out my move because "one of their trucks got into an accident, leaving several employees in the hospital." Seemed like a good company based on their customer service and how nice the movers were. Unfortunately they damaged multiple pieces of my furniture and put a hole in the wall. Not one apology from any of the guys! I filed a complaint and was told to take pictures and someone would come out to assess the damages. 7 weeks went by and no one came out. I rarely complain about any kind of service in 2020/ 2021. Its been a rough year & a half for everyone. However this company caused me so much frustration, strain & money for both my family and the family moving into my home. We were scheduled for a Friday, booking ahead a month in advance. They said movers would show up between 8am & 10am, by 11am no one had showed up. I called again and they said between 3 & 4pm. 4 pm rolls around no one showed up. First things first, the movers who come and move your stuff are EXCELLENT! They are professional, courteous, and careful. If only they were running the company. When I made me appointment, I was quoted $164.00 an hour with 2 hour minimum move time. To me, that sounds like $328.00 to move some furniture pieces. When they've got your stuff on the truck you find out that. No, 2 hours of travel is time it takes to get to and from your location. So your move actually costs $601.00 to get it off the truck. They called me the day of my move to cancel....said not enough people showed up to work and that they had to cancel a lot besides my job. Ruined my moving I couldn't find any one with that amount of short notice to move me. If I could pick zero stars I would.
Horrible Experience! Stay away! A smooth-talking salesman, Rick, from Cherry Hill, NJ, came to my home with glowing promises to move my furniture safely and efficiently. He quoted the Google reviews for AMS, but failed to mention that the Cherry Hill NJ site has a horrendous reputation. Leading up to the move, I worked with Rick to ensure that the inventory "cube" sheet was 100% accurate. The company cancelled the day before the move after confirming 5 days before the move. Never called me until I called asking what time they would arrive. When Mike told me they were cancelling, I asked when he planned to call me and he said he would have called me the next morning (the day of the move). Then he hung up when I asked for my deposit back. Worst company ever. Do not use.
Boy have I been waiting to write this review. I will pay for your move with any other company just do NOT use this company. They are scammers. Snakes. Disgusting humans who have not compassion or take any responsibility. Gave me scheduled window of 11-4. At 4, called them and they said that they would not be coming today.
