I would give zero stars if possible! They cancelled the day before our move this week and left us scrambling to find a mover the day before our closing! I see this is a pattern after reading other reviews! I will be telling everyone I know NOT TO HIRE THEM!
After being reassured the movers were full time employees and confirming my Monday Aug 16 move on Friday, we were contacted at 8 am on Monday morning they did not have a crew and the move is cancelled. explanation was it was very hot and no one wanted to work. We tried to calll at 7 am because they had not confirmed the night prior and the phones are turned off.. this was an awful experience..negative stars if possible.
Really unbelievable experience. Was called by the company the night before our scheduled move to confirm the appointment. I called the next morning to ask when they would be coming and was told that, because we didn't return the confirmation call, our appointment was canceled. The man I spoke to hung up on me when I began to question him. My fiancée called back and was able to have them reschedule us for the weekend. They cancelled my move on the day of the move. Absolute disgrace. Did not offer to reschedule me. I then read all the Yelp reviews and they were chillingly accurate. I'm actually glad they didn't show up because it sounds like they do a terrible job.
They cancelled on me the morning of my move without even contacting me. I called an hour after they were supposed to have arrived and they said they weren't calling because the crew called out. I understand everyone in the world is short staffed right now but I was relying on them to move me!! I had booked them 2 months in advance! And when I called other companies to try and squeeze me in they said All My Sons Cherry Hill does this all the time!! Deceitful !!!!! Worst company I have ever dealt with ! Quoted one price and over charged by hundreds of dollars on moving day and there was nothing I could do about it ! They showed up with a HUGE moving van for my tiny one bedroom apartments belongings that I initially told them I required moving ... not much stuff ! Chris the owner was rude and obnoxious he said he emailed with possible "up charges" that could impact the price but I never received them ! NEVER use this company! They agreed to terms of a move and then less than 24 hours before the move, they called and changed them increasing the price and minimum hours. Then the manager begrudgingly agreed to honor the original terms and then canceled hours before the move offering no alternative date for a move. NEVER USE!
If you're going to lie to your customers at least make it believable and worth their time. I placed a deposit on 7/1 for a move on 7/30. I was told by Chris week before my move they would call me to discuss logistics of the move since it entailed two stops. I never received a call... I called the Monday, Wednesday and Thursday before my call and was told each time the schedule wasn't ready. I inquired with All My Sons Cherry Hill location several months ago and promptly received a call from one of their representatives. A gentleman came to our home within a few days and took a thorough inventory of all of our items. Upon providing our quote, he shared a binder full of photos displaying all the ways that All My Sons cares for your items and your home - from doorway bumpers and floor coverings, to furniture wrapping and truck maintenance.
