Unprofessional company. I had a high value Swiss watch go missing after my move. The management team that handles theft/loss have not returned my emails or phone calls. They don?t feel responsible for my loss. Basically turns out I hired a company to go through my personal belongings while I was in another room. Help themselves to what they wanted. So if you want to hire a company to rob you then this a great company to start with. But if you want to honest hardworking respectful people I would look elsewhere.
A nightmare, Well I called All My Sons in Cherry Hill, for my cousin who is a doctor, so he is not stupid, and speaks with an accent and is sometimes difficult to understand. I am a retired high school administrator who does not lie . 1) First of all they were listed under Lakewood NJ as movers. The move was from Lakewood, NJ to Barnegat, NJ about 27 miles. Total disaster. Workers were nice but inexperienced. Took 7 hours to load a truck that should have been 3 hours - ran out of room in truck because loaded improperly. Left us stuck w 12 pieces of furniture. For us this deal with. Then the drop to new house 4 hours later than expected- then at 6:00 telling us they are done for the day with the truck still filled w 1/2 our stuff. They didn?t show up prepared and tried to get me to pay them on the side. When I refused they told me I was paying by the hour and they took their sweet time to finish.
Went through all pertinent information with them, they asked location, amount of rooms what furniture etc. Scheduled move date with them, on the day of the move we were waiting outside for the moving company ( in the rain) saving parking for them right in front of home and they drove right past us never stopped. They then called us and said the moving appointment was canceled. Horrible experience!!!
I was told service would be $159 a day before it went to $179. The overall cost of the relocation would be $579. With a one-hour travel fee included from the old address to the new address. $159 after 2 hours. The guys took an hour for lunch. I got to a new place with a charge of over $1485. Then they will not unload furniture. I was threatening that they were leaving with my stuff and keeping it in storage. and then you would be charged each day. They accepted $1100. The movers that were sent to help were not trustworthy; they tried to trick us by telling us that their boss told them not to go to the storage. They asked for money we are under the impression that they were looking for drugs at my apartment as one of the pill battles were found empty when I had two months supply on it.
They cancelled on me the day of the move, leaving me stranded. They gave a lame excuse that their guys were too hot from working yesterday. Giant turdburger.
They were dishonest about price. The salesperson stated it would take 2 hours based on the conversation. I called AllMySons on 6/22 to schedule the move for 7/3. After calling them over and over to discuss the details, they finally called on 7/2. Then I received an email about the additional cost!! They charged me an hour for the commute and gas.
