I just had the worst experience with the company ever... so back in the middle of June I spoke with Nicole who gave me a quote That We agreed upon to move me July 14.... Everything was good and I was the only waiting for that day.... Now four days before I'm supposed to move I get a call from this company and they said that they will be charging me $500 more than the agreed upon amount and that the quote Nicole will not be honored. horrible horrible horrible. couldn't care less about your furniture. overcharged. holds your furniture hostage. until you sign release of responsibiliTy. real assholes to work with. broken half a dozen of items & said they would send me a claim form & didn't. would give them less then 1 star if I could.
Do not use this moving company!! They had an estimator come out and look at your belongings and quote you a price and it was far from what we needed. The customer service was absolutely horrible and I would save yourself a headache and look for another company. They did not put boxes where they needed to be even though they were marked. We had to rent a 15ft truck and pack the rest of our belongings 6 hrs later. And they offer no compensation.
The owner is horrible! Had an 11-4 moving window. 4pm comes around and have not heard a word. Called once and said they'd get back to me. Never did 30min it's later called again and said the previous move took longer than Expected and the movers are taking a break. Fine. Calls back to say actually they can't do your two man move but I can send a three man crew for more money. Complete SCAM - DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! Have a 2 bedroom apt moving to storage. Original moving day was Friday, April 28th. Received a call on Monday asking if I could reschedule for Wednesday or Thursday. I was going to be out of town so Thursday was the earliest I could accommodate. Movers were expected between 2-4 pm. Please be aware of booking this company for your next move. Moving is a stressful enough time in your life but when a company rips you off it's even worse . We moved from St Augustine to Jacksonville a total of 11 miles . When you booked. The move I was given a quote of $800.00 dollars and promised 3 men. We moved from a 1000 square foot condo 2 bedrooms 2 baths no appliances. When the movers showed up they only had 2 guys . The men they sent worked really hard and never even took a break . I would give them a negative rating if I could! I should of canceled once I saw all the terrible reviews, but on Google they had semi decent reviews. I've hired 2 moving companies in the past and they were great! Unfortunately they were booked for the day I needed to move. So I called All My Sons for a quote. Their hourly rate was a little higher compared to some companies but they didn't have a truck fee so I was ok with it. The day of the move they showed up around 8:45. Worst movers ever. From the 2 Different crews in fighting between them to one of the drivers smoking pot to arriving at our new home to find police surrounding one of the trucks. Apparently the driver didn't want to wait for the gate code and drove through the security arms. Everything was horrible including the packing. Multiple things broken. Different items from different rooms in a box marked completely differently than what the contents were. Things like coffee pots were not emptied of water before they packed them. I'... read more
The movers were on time and efficient. That part was great. After that it went downhill. They took much longer than estimated to move my stuff. When I asked one of the movers about it, I was told that it was because they usually have 3 or 4 men for a move with my amount of stuff. Okay, understandable. Maybe that was my fault. Perhaps I wasn't clear on the amount of stuff I had. So I move on.
