Where to begin... My husband booked the service, he explained what we were moving. We had a storage unit (including sq footage) as well as items from our home (itemized and told square footage) that we were moving about 45 minutes away. He was quoted 4 men, 6 hours for $700 aprox. The gentleman showed up, there were only 3 men. I personally stayed with them at the storage unit. The men were extremely personable, and FAST with the shed. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had with any company whatsoever. I had no idea about the pricing. I called to get an estimate on moving a safe up ONE flight of stairs that weighed 400 lbs. Michael from the call center, who was a sales man at their finest, stressed to me that there would be a four-guy minimum to ensure that no one got hurt, that it would cost about $164 with a lowered fuel charge and that there would be no truck needed, just "muscle". Recently hired this company to move for me. Arrived late. Our dryer was damaged pretty bad, floors at our new home were scratched in several places, few broken items, and damage to just about all our main furniture (bed, night stands, tv stand). Boxes clearly labeled "fragile" placed on the bottom of heavy boxes. The movers were in a rush to watch a football game the whole time and were not professional movers you would expect. An absolutely awful experience. I had issues with promises made by corporate vs. what the local team delivered. The day was a logistic nightmare. I had furniture damaged that is worth over $800 and they offered me $50 then $300 but only if I didn't say anything negative. The move took longer than expected (which is normal) but then I was asked on a date by one of the movers who now knows where I live (which is not normal). This the worst moving company ever! I called the Nashville office and explained that I was moving to Florida. They sent out someone to my home to physically look at what I needed moved. I had my own moving blankets and they were to use them and provide shrink wrap. I was quoted a price of between $1000 - $1200 for (4 man crew) them to load and pack everything into my 26ft box truck so that I could drive it to Florida. My gosh avoid this bunch at all costs! I used this bunch just before Halloween and true my moving boxes weren't in the best shape but they showed up late, told me they wouldn't move my four wheelers, the small non boxed stuff (too hard to fit in load), after they picked what they would take they got mad about how far they had to go to unload it and how late they would be getting back home. I would move everything out myself before using this company ever again. My first experience with them was in Memphis moving into Nashville in 2015 and it was overall good; however, I used them for a move from Nashville to Ohio in 2016. Where do I start with the complaints? Well, first the movers COMPLAINED about moving me, which is their job, right? I wish I would have looked at yelp before hiring these guys. I was quoted $900 for my move. I've now paid $2000 I'm not exactly sure how this is even possible. Management is complete crap. They don't show up to move me until 330pm and it takes them until 1230am to get that truck done Not to mention they didn't get every thing in one trip. Initially I was really grateful for the moving company. I called about a week before my move and scheduled them - they said they had one open slot left available and they would call me in 3 days to let me know around what time I could expect the movers to show.
