Unbelievable...poor, poor, poor service. 4 men showed up to move our restaurant equipment and 5 pool tables. They started to move some light pieces then, seeing the pool tables, stopped the job. Lead man said he stepped on a nail and declared the job site unsafe. When asked if he would like to take off his shoe to see how bad the puncture site was, he declined and walked off. I'll be purchasing a new dining table as a result of this move. Table is ruined beyond repair, and it could have been avoided by some professionalism and actual customer service/care. We filed a claim, but the settlement offered was a joke. The dining table was the worst, but there were at least 5 other pieces of furniture that were scratch or broken. Never again!
I have been waiting for the movers to show up since 1:00. It is now 4:52 and I have called several times to get an estimate of arrival time and have been told twice that they would call me right back. Still no call and no movers. They had no problem processing my deposit. Was promised an afternoon move. I guess they meant an evening or night time move. I would not recommend this company. We moved on Saturday 5/26. Called earlier in the week and was told the deposit would be around 300 if we decided to go with them (someone came out to the house to give us a quote). We decided to do it and was then told the deposit would be over 500. The movers were supposed to show up at 8am but did not get there until after 9. scarred to ever entrust a stranger again to move my prized possessions wish i would have researched as well and read these negative reviews. they man-handled everything I owned instead of using teamwork to move. literally pushed my mattress down the stairs. not what i paid to witness... lost a few years of my life watching them carry my items to the truck. Do NOT trust them with an expensive movable bed. They were not strong enough to carry the bed frame so they pushed it in the dirt.
First of all let me start by saying the weekend customer service representative I spoke to on Saturday and Sunday to confirm our schedule move for a Monday were excellent. They were friendly, very responsive to my special requests, and extremely helpful and patient. Once Monday morning hit though it was a totally different story. Nothing professional about this company, their people or there attention to customer satisfaction. I wish I had done more research before hiring them. My story is much like the rest of the negative comments - No communication, unprofessional behavior, lack of respect for my home and my possessions and no concept of time. Very disappointed. The first piece of equipment they unloaded off the van, they dropped and broke beyond repair. It was an expensive piece of scientific equipment. The second piece they unloaded, they also dropped. Workers were shouting expletives at each other. We had them discontinue and bring a different crew the next day. According to the "contract" (did you read it since they are bonded?), they paid for the equipment at $0.60 per pound.
