I was quoted $150 an hour and I specifically asked over the phone if there were any extra add ons or fees. I was assured, NO. No extra add ons or fees would be charged to my credit card and it would be all inclusive for the $150 an hour. Too good to be true! One word - Horrible. Overcharged, hidden fuel charges, hidden 3 hour minimum charges. Aggressive and surly Movers. Literally go anywhere else - or just buy new stuff.
Overcharged, hidden fuel and supply charges. Movers on phone much of the move. Slow! 5 1/2 hours for a one bedroom apartment on 2nd floor with elevator to a first floor apartment 18 minutes away! Scam artists!! Over $1,500 for move! Outrageous! Rent a truck.
Needed 10 boxes, 2 dressers, 1 television, 1 mattress moved. They didn't move the TELEVISION. Supposedly they forgot it. Do not recommend.
5/2/23 Great that they had availability for a move last minute, I was called the day before and told the moving guys would show up between 11-1pm. At 1pm the day of I hadn't heard from anyone and called the office. Was informed their current job was running late and they wouldn't be done there until 2. I understand things run behind the issue was receiving no communication and wasting my day sitting around waiting. I was completely scammed by this company. I had one bedroom apartment plus office worth of furniture to move. I was quoted $649 for four hours (2 hours commute and 2 hours labor). I was only moving 15 minutes down the road. There were two movers, but only one was moving items for the most part. It took them over 4 hours just to load the items. I've moved a lot & this was the worst. No communication once it was booked; instead of an early 8-10 am start it was past noon bc of a no show crew; was quoted approx. $400 & they tried to charge me over $900, still had to pay almost $700 for a very small move. Furniture was damaged including scratches on my washer/dryer. Very unprofessional. One mover on his cell phone for virtually entire unload. Ordered lunch & ate it on the job. It shouldn't have taken more than an hour to load & unload & they charged me for 4.
Awful experience. I could go on and on about how awful this company Didn't send a big enough truck for a 3bdrm 3 bath move, only sent 2 movers, one of which told me he doesnt do moves that he works in warehouse and they sent him because they didn't have anyone else, but he had to be back at warehouse by 5. Since he had no idea what he was doing, my freshly painted house has deep knicks and dings in the walls, got 3 quotes to fix ($600, $550 and $300). wish I saw these reviews before we hired all my sons. we hired them in our realtors recommendation. Do not use. We recently moved and it was a terrible experience. They damaged furniture and our wood floors by dropping a nightstand. They also Destroyed a coffee table and dented up walls. The cost of the furniture repairs was more than the move. When the men dropped the furniture they said not to worry. The movers insurance would cover it which it did not. A large number of boxes also went missing. Upsetting because we moved ... read more
