The company chosen by American Home Shield to perform the work didn't seem to care about the timeframe for fixing the problem. Technician showed up a week later, only to have to order a part which will take another week to deliver

When call for a service request, you outsource your call center. When I call the person that answers the phone has such a thick accent. I cannot understand a word they are saying.

Most vendors are excellent. But when there is a vendor that does not do as expected, the customer is required to wait for the vendor to repeatedly mess up before the American Home Shield fixes the problem. That is very disappointing. This is the purpose of the contracted services from the beginning (intent of avoiding this type of runaround).

I have been with AHS for the past 8 years. The only negative aspect to the program is the price. It started at 56 dollars a month with a 75 dollar service cost, to its current rate of 113 dollars a month and a 100 service call. Out of all my claims I only had to fight one which AHS eventually approved. Still worth the value giving the rising costs of everything else, but a little disappointing.

American Home Shield really came through for me. I can't believe I actually have a new refrigerator and it's beautiful and equal to the one that I had. I have been telling all my friends and family and sharing my link to invite them to American Home shield. It is truly worth the investment as a homeowner. I am so grateful and blessed to have them by my side.
