I like the service, they gave prompt and good service
The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The agents are very polite but cannot solve issues that are complex. There is no escalation path and neither can u contact them by email to register a complaint. This is very frustrating. Additionally, their service providers do not work on weekends. So if the water heater dies on a Friday evening you will have no fix till the following week.
They contract service people that are in other towns, states too far away. Slow to schedule service
They responded quickly and repair was resolved.
I would like the ability to request an alternate provider if the assigned provider is unable to accommodate my availability or get to me within a few days. It is a frowned upon by American Home Shield request an alternate provider. I have had two experiences where I needed to request a alternate provider and the alternate providers were available immediately and did an outstanding job. I am a much happier getting my broke appliances fixed within a day or two rather than waiting a week or two.

Prompt service, and they work with reputable companies to assist you
One improvement it took two weeks for the service to occur. When I called to see if there was another vendor who could come out sooner I was told I’d have to cancel my appt and “take a chance”. I had to throw away all the food in my refrigerator because I couldn’t get an emergency appointment.
I liked that they got someone out to me really fast. I didn't like that from the time he walked into the house it seemed that he was not going to try to help or suggest any options. He did not even want to go look at the electrical panel when I told him about everything cutting off. I have spoken to a contractor before and was told about changing out the fuses but he did not even want to look to see.
