I've had AHS coverage for over 20 years and they've never let me down. I like the majority of the companies that they select for my repair services and on the very few occasions that there's been a problem with a particular repair company, AHS has fixed that situation too. Over the past 20 years, my AHS coverage has been flawless, including my most recent problem with a garbage disposal. I've recommended AHS to mulitple friends.

My recent service with AHS was a great experience. I was able to schedule my service online in minutes. The service provider they sent was from GE (General Electric) and was topnotch! He repaired my refrigerator ice machine and even made another repair we weren't even aware was needed. I've been with AHS for 5 years, and my only complaint is they have steadily been raising my rates every year. My rate has almost doubled since the first year, but I've also had a lot of items repaired, so overall, it has been worth the money s... read more

I would like the ability to request an alternate provider if the assigned provider is unable to accommodate my availability or get to me within a few days. It is a frowned upon by American Home Shield request an alternate provider. I have had two experiences where I needed to request a alternate provider and the alternate providers were available immediately and did an outstanding job. I am a much happier getting my broke appliances fixed within a day or two rather than waiting a week or two.

I requested service on my H'VAC unit on 8/4/23, but so many things went wrong with the dispatched technician and my security company's analysis of whether the problem was with the HVAC unit or the thermostat, that my air was not fully restored until 8/25/23. However, AHS did their part.
