My wife and I love the service how everybody was so helpful. The technicians for servicing our appliances were always on time and very professional. Had an issue with the AC not working and American Home Shield sent someone out to have it serviced immediately. There was a part that was no longer covered under our AC warranty, however it was covered under American Home Shield. This saved us lots of money in the end.

One particular issue we had repeat 4 times in a year but they would not replace the appliance. So we were stuck in an endless loop of same fix for temporary time, same breakage, repeat service fee.

Liked: Quick dispatch and persistence. Dislike: Some of the contractors were difficult to schedule and others provided poor quality work, resulting in either recurring problems (refrigerator, toilet), or having to repeat the work after the work warranty expired (garage door)

It took about 4 to 5 days for the technician to come out. I would have liked it to be sooner than that. Otherwise, the level of service was good. The technician was very knowledgeable and repaired my appliance. It was a good value having American Home Shield.

home shield representatives are difficult to understand and in my experience they do not understand the product. seems they read from a script without having knowledge of contracts. this is very frustrating.
