The representative I spoke with for the first time and agreed to proceed with the program did not inform me of the possibility of being sued by the creditors. He talked a lot about how to handle creditor phone calls, but, not a mention of potential law suit. This is, essentially, not full disclosure, and complete misrepresentation of what I agreed to. I was sued by the last, and largest amount, creditor. Of course, I was extremely upset. I was not going to allow this suit to go to trial and have to pay a lawyer. I have never... read more

Although I’m thankful for the settlements, your percentage was supposed to be around 22 to 25 % They are closer to 33% and more And I wasn’t aware that as they shed, the balances went up and up I thought once contacted they would stop all activity Very disappointed but it is what it is

When I started with them, my understanding was that the program will be a total of 48 months and I will have to deposit every month an amount of $330 . Bu t a few months ago they contacted me a few times about settlement with some of my creditors but mentioned to me that I might need to add more money for them to settle. It happened a few times and I feel that Americor negotiator are competing who can get more money out of any settlement. That is just my feeling of how they handle my settlement program.

I didn't find them helpful at all. They processed the application, but were not helpful in closing the deal.

I liked it at first. But…..I was told to “trust the process”. In this “process” I got sued twice. Sent in the legal docs, court dates came and went, I lost the case - of course - but then they garnished my wages. And STILL no one contacted the 2 creditors who now have judgements against me and are garnishing my wages. Once I finish paying off one, the next one kicks in. Yet, no one has contacted them IN 18 MONTHS. Not once. When I ask them about it they say “ well, there’s nothing we can do now”. So, I sent in the docs regar... read more

I dislike the fact that you raised the amount of what I was paying when all I was supposed to pay was the set amount of $162/mo.
