Not a whole lot to say here. It was cheap and quick. Got there a few minutes before 7:30, was out in maybe 20 minutes or less. Got vaccines for the pup, and they were only 30 bucks. All of the ladies working there were very kind with me and my dog. Good enough for me!
I am writing this review, based on several experiences with one of the vets, Dr. Sherry Marrs. She treated my cat last year, who ultimately I decided to put down. She did not advise a bunch of expensive tests, and was very realistic, yet SO compassionate. Today, she vaccinated, diagnosed, and treated several (as it turned out) minor issues with my dog. I have been taking my cats and dogs to this clinic for 20 years. Even though I have moved way north over the years I will not take my animals to any other clinic. There are no extra exam fees, or "see the vet" charge just to get simple annual shots. Additionally, I always ask for Dr. Miller if I have a serious issue, he is the most knowledgeable vet in the DFW area! I agree with most of the other reviews here and laughed out loud at the "Parkland of Animal Hospitals" Today a lady asked me if I could "hold please' then set all the lines to be busy. (I just wanted to find out if my dog was up to date on her shots...sigh.) I've liked the doctors and the compassion they show and am super grateful they care for sugar gliders, but the desk staff definitely treat the clients as if they are an imposition.
I take my ferrets here to see Dr. Murray. I'm confused about the couple bad reviews about him. He is always smiling and often laughing when I see him. Always answers my questions and treats my ferrets well. As for customer service, yes it's minimal. However, when my boy reacted badly to a shot, and began vomiting in a corner of the waiting room, they immediately got a cortisone shot ready for him, and someone came out to clean up the mess for me. I decided to go to this clinic because their prices are much better than the usual vet I go too. I am so glad that I did! They were very efficient, and very pleasant to work with. I arrived at a good time because it wasn't busy, but about 10 minutes later they got very busy. I will definitely use their services again, especially for routine shots and checkups!
I have been coming here for three years and went today to take my pets for their yearly shots. I was quickly checked in, waited a few minutes for the shots, and then checked out. The visit took maybe 30 minutes. The facility is clean and the staff has always been friendly to me. Then again, I am a very friendly person and believe in being nice to anyone in the customer service field. I am so thankful for this practice! They get you in, get your pet taken care of, and then charge you a better than fair price. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and they all go here. I love that they care enough to insist on a heart worm check each year before administering pills for my dogs. Just like my annual check up I want to know everything is clear and OK. Don't be put-off by the busy old school front office, this is a top notch animal clinic staffed by caring and competent vets. It's most affordable as compared to many local clinics including Valwood Animal Hospital which charges twice the fair rate.
