Seriously LOVE this place!!! Their doctors are terrific and very helpful! Plus you cant beat the price!!! We live over near uptown Dallas and drive 30+ minutes to go to this clinic for both our dogs! Best kept vet secret in DFW!!
I call this clinic the "Parkland" of animal hospitals. No appointments, minimal customer service, and not so good looking. I have taken my 13 week old puppy here three times now. I have had good experiences each time. Vaccinations were $28 and they did not charge for an exam. Deworming was $21. The front desk staff is very knowledgeable, you can tell they have been working there for a long time (10+ years). But they are lacking in their customer service skills. I have been taking my pets to Animal Clinic of Framers Branch for over 20 years. The vets and staff are professional and caring! When I brought in a stray dog this week for an exam and shots they knew my name immediately! The prices are reasonable and I believe if more vets were affordable like Animal Clinic of Farmers Branch more people would adopt stray animals. I was able to find the precious stray a good forever home!
Dr. Miller has been a friend to my family's animals for two generations and has cared for 10 dogs belonging to my parents or me and my wife over that time period. There is not a negative thing I could say about his abilities or patient (person or pet) skills. His staff is efficient, especially for the amount of patients that come in, either from word of mouth or due to their very reasonable pricing. If you care for your pet's health the way that my family has, this is a fantastic place to check out.
I never write reviews but this place is AMAZING! What a hidden gem - the property is not glamorous but you the customer see the benefits by paying way less than you would anywhere else! My poor aging cat has very bad teeth - we've had two vets recommend full dental cleaning and likely tooth pulling. The cleaning alone would be $1200! But because she is old we would have to do full bloodwork to make sure she can be put under anaesthetic. PLEASE READ THIS POST ENTIRELY- MAY BE A LITTLE WORDY BUT IT IS STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET BEING INFORMED. I am a first time Maltipoo owner and I would highly recommend Animal Clinic of Farmers Branch to anyone. The animals come first here. I have to agree this is among the BEST and CHEAPEST vet clinics I've ever been to. I highly recommend it. We take our dog and cat there and we are very pleased with the treatment of them and us. Except once... I agree with the post regarding Dr. Murray. He is a total JERK. If you go and he's the vet on duty, just LEAVE. And if you've had problems with Dr. Murray like the other post and I have, please write to the owner, Dr. Jim Miller. He needs to know. Dr. Murray needs to GO.
I've been going here since 2007 once a month! Yeah, that's right, I'm there no less than once a month. They are great there. No up tight service. The prices are very reasonable. I drive out of my way just to go there. My main vet is Dr. Murray. He's great. The person that gave a bad review of him, serious no idea what they are talking about. Buddy the dog has been going to Animal Clinic Of Farmers Branch ever since 1999. These folks are great with him, never try to upsell you services that your pooch doesn't really need. The Vets are so gentle and show a real concern for your pets health. I would never take the Budster anywhere else.
