My usual veterinarian was booked up and I needed to take my pup in for an annual because we were almost out of heartworm preventative. A co-worker told me about this clinic, and I thought I'd give it a try because I wouldn't need to make an appointment. I am not someone to write reviews but this veterinary clinic is a very special place and deserves the 5 star rating. I have been going here for 25 years and they have always provided quality, loving care at a reasonable price. I trust these people to help give me the information and guidance I need to care for my pets when they are in need of serious care. They all know each other well and know their clients.
They are fast, low cost and do not require an appointment or charge for office visit fee for simple things such as rabies vaccine. They don't have the friendliest staff but who cares when they get the job done for my pet at an affordable and reasonable price.
You can't make an appointment here. It is like an urgent care for your pets. The costs are very low for ferret treatments compared to the clinics I have used in Houston. The service was fast and the doctor was very well educated about ferrets and that makes me really happy! I went in because my ferret picked up fleas during our road trip and I was out of flea medicine. Also she was showing signs of adrenal disease and so I needed a diagnosis. I was there yesterday getting a health certificate for a rescue dog before transport to Colorado. I thought the first come first served operations was quite helpful because of the nature of my visit. Very reasonable pricing and the Dr was very nice and caring toward Bubba.
Ive been using this clinic for 10+ years. They only accept walk ins, unless youre scheduled to have surgery. Always good for those "omg. What the heck happened?" moments with your pets. Which is exactly what happened with my two boxers at 7am this morning. The best thing about this place is how LOW COST it is!!!! This was my first time at animal clinic of farmers branch.Dr.johnson saw my dog coco ,I was very pleased with her decision and the medicine she prescribed. ACFB is amazingly affordable and the staff is great!!! I've been taking my pets there for years, even though it is a little bit of a drive. Linda is an amazing asset to this place! She is very knowledgeable, understanding and caring person. I would definitely encourage you to give this place a try and ask for Linda! Saturday's is a first come first serve so be sure to get there early.
