I've been taking my pets to Animal Clinic of Farmers Branch since 1995. They were recommended to me by a friend, and I've obviously been pleased with their service. There are several vets there, but I always ask for Dr. Georgia Johnson whenever possible. It's a walk-in clinic except for surgeries which must be scheduled. I like that because sometimes you need to get in immediately and don't have to schedule an appointment. I have been going to this clinic over a decade now. The products and services are very reasonable. The staff does a great job of getting you in and out as quickly as possible especially when they are swamped. Pam, one of their long time vet techs, is a great asset to the clinic. She is very professional and very friendly. She is also veey knowledgeable about the clinic's products and services.
I have been using this vet for 20+ years. They have the best prices I know of. My little dog got in our cactus we have had for years a couple of years ago. He had it all over! It was pitiful They had to put him under, and it took 3 people, 2 hours to pluck out all those tiny needles!! They sent me home with some antibiotics and pain medicine and my bill was $125.00. I've been taking my pets here for years and have never had any issues. The prices are affordable and I actually enjoy the staff. I see some reviews saying they're rude, but I've never experienced that. We have a good laugh usually when I go in. Yesterday I had to take my senior-aged boxer in for serious health issues. I have been taking pets here for 15+ years. It's definitely a 'no frills' type of place. Their prices are extremely affordable ($25 office visit), so you're not paying for a state of the art building or fancy reception area. I'll admit, the women behind the front desk can be a little rough around the edges, but it's never been an issue for me. The veterinarians are all amazing and gifted. They go above and beyond for you and your pets. I moved to Plano and I make the drive here just because I know my dog is in great hands. I don't know what some people are referring to with the "rudeness" of the staff. They're always very nice to my family and our pets. I really appreciated how thorough AND efficient everyone was here. After having a horrible experience elsewhere, this place was a breath of fresh air. Only rated down one star for cleanliness level....Everything was really dirty. I honestly didn't mind because the vet was really kind and gentle and I could tell that everyone there really cared about the animals. This place is a life saver! Instead of spending hundreds of dollars for a work up at the Vet a mere $40 was all it took to get medicine and a vet visit for my dog. They have great prices on vaccines and flea control too! If you go in on a weekday at like 10 there is no wait. It's fist come first serve so in sure on the weekends the wait is longer but SO with it. They are fast, efficient and knowledgeable. Love them!
Dr. Marrs is AWESOME and the staff are quick and on point. I took my pup in for diarrhea and after talking to Dr. Marrs she told me some over the counter stuff to add to take along with her RX and it worked!! I finally went a whole night with no accidents or a crying puppy. Very fair prices!
