Hard credit check/ Higher interest I was told my credit would not be affected by applying. They DID do a hard credit check which most definitely has an impact. They called me back about refinancing my car which I didn't ask for....I had applied for them to refinance a motorcycle. I called to ask them to terminate the loan and today I still received an offer . The offer was for 72 months at almost 10%??? My original loan is 6.9 for 36 months. Somebody is not paying attention.
Stay with local financial institutions. Correspondence with company was horrible. Loan timed out due to someone being out sick then information was incorrect when asking about information. Awaiting communication at this time to get my title back since nobody can assist me when calling. Informed I could reapply but would be required to restart the process.
Scammy Tactics Sounds scammy, I'm starting not to like Credit Karma now since they suggested their offer. They are not a direct lender, will cause multiple hits on your credit report being a middle man. They sent me a contract to sign and after they thought I signed called back and said I needed to pay them a deposit first. They tried to charge me almost $600 for their "middle man" service fee. Plus gap insurance.
Ehhh They approval was fast and great. They thing they don’t tell you is that they are not the actual refinancing company, they are the “broker”. They require 6 months of payments, and they give you higher interest rate. Like the lady said, “people sign with us to get the 45 day no payment extension”!!! Why people?!! The application process was smooth, (online) the rest was very horrible. Stay away

Avoid them. They are a bait and switch scam They are a bait and switch and will advertise one estimate then come back with a significantly higher APR then what you currently have after a hard inquiry. Avoid them at all costs.

Bad experience!!!! Asked for autopay to not run multiple credit checks. They did anyways (4). They called me with an approval that I agreed to before finding out what they did to my credit. I brought up them running multiple credit checks and I can’t get a return call or follow thru with the refinance. Now they dinged my credit for no reason. Not a good experience!!!
Don’t waste your time They advertise a 4.8 interest rate on refinance, but that is far from what you actually get. On a 6 month old yukon with 15k of equity, an over 800 credit score and a great debt to income ratio, the came back with a 7.6. We already have a 7.8. Don’t waste your time or believe the the thing credit karma throws in your face is every time you log on. Wasted half a morning and a few hard inquiries on our credit.
