I took my sweet pup, Kola, to Belle Haven for nearly a decade. All the vets are wonderful, especially Dr. Kamai and Dr. Schutt who went above and beyond for aftercare a couple times from surgeries. I believe the care from the team bought him a couple extra years of life — and for me more years of the greatest companionship. Thanks to you all for your service. We have been going to the Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre (BHAMC) for almost 20 years and our experience has always been positive. In mid-Nov we noticed some changes with our dog Christy and thought she might have a Urinary Tract Infection. We made an appointment with Dr. Baumsteiger who ultimately determined that in fact, Christy had bladder stones. After reviewing the alternatives, we opted to go with surgery. Dr. Kamei has been the best vet for my dog, Olive. We moved to Colorado last year and drove back to Virginia a couple of times during the year and I made sure that I scheduled Olive's appointments with Dr. Kamei while we were in Virginia. We just moved back and went in for our annual appointment and Dr. Kamei was very thorough per usual. She is great about explaining everything and listening to my concerns.
