I really like this place. I heard about it after watching The Pet Show with Dr. Katy for a couple of years. The service is always really good. I would say pricing is fair. You get a feeling all the staff care and like what they do. I've been taking my two cats here for about 3 years and I have no complaints. The inside is is very nice too!

I initially started bringing my cats to Belle Haven because it was close to my house. Twenty years later, and with a different set of cats, I continue trusting Dr. Donohue to care for my pets. Not only is Dr. Donohue extremely knowledgable and kind, but she is great with my terrified kitties and always personally follows up with test results. We're relatively new patients but from the very first phone call, BHAMC has been wonderful. Our previous vet was disappointing and disinterested in our pets and our concerns but the veterinarians at BHAMC have been such an amazing change. And the vet techs/receptionists are just as great! Every time I've called they've been so nice and helpful, even when it's clear they are busy. I've never felt rushed or unheard. We feel very happy our pets are in their hands.

Belle Have Animal Medical Centre is exceptional! Our sweet dog has had many medical issues over the years and everyone at this practice has been wonderful. Every visit, no matter the situation, they act with patience, kindness, and understanding. Our dog is very nervous when she visits the vet and they do everything they can to make her comfortable. Updated: Good practice, but if you're looking for a vet try Hybla Valley Veterinary Center - they have a much less corporate feel and have much more reasonable feee. At Belle Haven, we have seen Dr. Katz who is great and very knowledgeable and Dr. Donahue who was very kind with our pup. Three stars is for the fact that the front desk staff can be rude/short and they charge one of the highest visit fees I've seen - $79 - and then more often than not rush you out the door. We've taken our dogs here for about five years. The practice is more expensive than average for the area but they are usually easy to schedule, all of the doctors we have seen have been pretty good, people are pleasant and generally helpful, and the space is clean and pretty. We've had mostly routine visits but one serious surgery and it turned out just fine. My dog gets super nervous around vets. They are so kind and caring here and made me and my dog feel super relaxed. They sat on the floor with him while they were talking to me and just clearly made every effort to make him feel a bit more calm.

I've seen about every doctor in the practice and they are all wonderful and caring. I will say that Dr Kamei is my favorite Dr tho.... We have several dogs (don't judge) and she is great with all of them. She did surgery on Winston a few years ago to remove a tumor right next to his jugular and she did a great job. When she's sees Churchill she knows his temperature is usually a little higher than normal so adjust her diagnosis to him.... I am so happy I went with Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre. I absolutely love the hours (they are flexible and stay open until 7:30 pm on weekdays!), everyone is so friendly right when you walk in the door, and they (the vets and techs) follow-up on the phone with our fur babies every time they go in for an emergency visit, procedure or if I have just a general question. Thank you so much for the peace of mind every time I enter and exit - I seriously can't imagine taking our dogs anywhere else!
