Still a major fan. Cutting-edge expertise and super love for my pets. The staff loves all animals including mine. While I have access to all the best options in care, I don't feel any pressure to do more for my pet than I am comfortable doing. Always get great explanations and support. Thumbs up. Best vets ever.

Still LOVE Belle Haven and make the long trek from Southern Maryland to continue with care there. Dr. Katz and Dr. Donahue are wonderfully caring and accessible vets. My problem child Leo has been getting acupuncture with Dr. Chang and I can't be more pleased with the results. I was a skeptic prior to starting Leo on acupuncture but he seems so much more relaxed and comfortable since we've started with the treatments. I absolutely LOVE Belle Haven. We see Dr. Donahue every time and couldn't be happier. It's a wonderful vet and the staff is so helpful and friendly. We live 45 min from Belle Haven since we moved however I still take my dog there. If you need an emergency appointment they can get you in. They are a little pricier than other places (Banfield for example) however they care you get is well worth it. The rooms and main area are so clean and don't stink like a vet.

I had two dogs that I took here. I LOVED this place. You can tell they LOVE the animals and I think I'm going to take my new dog (that I haven't gotten yet but will in the next month) here even though I live in MD. I just know that they're a great place and, for a vet, their interior decorating is GREAT! You guys will be seeing us again soon.

This isnt our regular vet but have come here specifically to see the orthopedic surgeon they have. The front desk ( specifically Gail) have gone above and beyond with following up and answering questions. Their responsiveness has been amazing, which is a nice change from our regular vets office! After my dogs surgery, we may permanently be switching here! We have been taking our dogs to Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre since it opened 15 years ago. The vets at BHAMC have cared for our dogs through complicated surgeries, illnesses, and routine checkups. Our pets have always received EXCEPTIONAL care. I had been taking my new rescue dog to a different vet and she wasn't getting better -- she'd have an upset stomach and diarrhea and they'd simply tell me to feed her chicken and rice and dismissed when I brought up that her eye looked infected. When I took my dog to the groomers and they mentioned the same issues and kind of raised their eyes when I said which vet I was taking her to, that was enough to send me someplace else, and they recommended Belle Haven. I'm updating my review because I got a call from Dr. Stuz (spelling unknown) but tells me my dealings w this vet was unacceptable and they will look into the issue. He apologized profusely. I appreciated how he followed up with me, and I think my first post was a bit harsh because I was concerned when a vet mentions Cancer. If someone says they will do something they should follow through. Not sure if this one time deal or not.
