This was my first time to refinance a home loan and I was leery about using a purely online company, but after comparing rates with my local credit union, I had to give Better a shot and I'm so glad that I did. Better's rates were so much better than any local rates I could get. The staff was excellent to work with and it was easy to follow the tasks that needed to be done. There was plenty of communication and they made the entire process seamless. I highly recommend Better.com for your refinance needs.

I was a bit trepidatious about the experience considering that it would all be done online and I consider myself a bit old school. But the rates for a refi were so far superior to what others were offering that I thought it would be worth exploring. From the beginning, the team made me feel comfortable and the online process was seamless. It allowed for me to move at my own pace and explained everything clearly. Definitely recommend!!!

Refinancing is a pain. Underwriters require a massive amount of documentation. You have to be organized. Better’s online system makes the process efficient. I don’t like spending my time on the phone. I was able to complete my refinance using their online portal and exchanging text messages with their team leader. I shopped around. Better gave me the lowest closing costs and lowest interest rate on my refinance. I would use them again and recommend to anyone looking for a home loan or refinance.

I’ve had several homes and refinanced many of those homes, and I can’t say I’ve ever had a fabulous mortgage loan experience, but Better was better than most. There were a few hiccups along the way, most of which I attributed to newer and less-experienced staff who may have been brought on to meet the current unprecedented demand in the market. My refinance experience with Better.com has been the best so far. Alexandra E. was assigned to me as my personal advisor from the start, and she was great following up throughout the process, with immediate response to any questions via message or phone call. The whole process was digital, seamless and quick. The rates were the lowest I could find and all the conditions were very clearly stated. I would certainly recommend Better.com to anyone looking for a mortgage loan.

Better.com accuse me of being an illegal alien which is very rich of them since I already own a house and had no problem getting a loan, nor does my present employer have any problem with me. I was also able do a refinance just 2 month ago without issue. Better.com pre-approved me and then declined at the very last second for not able to provide sufficient document of my status in the US. I don't know what kind of proof do they need, do I need to hire a lawyer just to satisfy them? Don't use them unless you are born in US or... read more
