Get directionsAfter I initially checked my rate with Better, myself and my husband started receiving daily calls from Better, sometimes, more than once a day. Despite informing them multiple times through email and over the phone that we were, not only, not interested, but had also gone through another lender, the calls still have not stopped. We have both blocked a few different numbers from Better.

We are suppose to close on our home, and the underwriter requested documents from my husband and I that don't even exist! We were suppose to have a disclosure 2 days ago and they keep sending us "tasks" to do requiring documentation previously sent or documentation that does not exist. We are in jeopardy of losing our Ernest money due to this inadequate business practice. We continue to wait "on hold" and being told "we understand" but no resolution seems to be happening.

We recommend Better Mortgage. Staff was quick to respond to questions and were able to talk us through all of our items quickly. The online task were easy to complete on our time schedule without having to give up work time to meet with someone at a bank.

Wow is all I can say! I kept waiting for something bad to happen because I felt this experience was to good to be true from the beginning. I have refinanced many times in my life and nothing came close to comparing to the awesome experience I had with Better. We 100% recommend Better Mortgage. The whole process was easy and painless. They worked with our particular circumstances and helped make our dream of a Lake house come true! It's all done through the website but even though you never talk face to face their customer service was so good it still felt personal. They even wrapped everything up early and we were able to close a week ahead of schedule.

I am trying to refinance with Better and this has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life. They don't charge orignation fees at the cost of communication, transparency, and attention to detail. The "experts" seem more clueless than I am if anything deviates from the norm. The tasks they request are repetitive and sent mindlessly. They do not have the customer or their time in mind.
