I went through all of the refinancing process and got an appraisal and everything was going great until a couple days before i was going to close they said my application was denied when they had already reviewed every thing and pulled my credit.

I had an amazing experience with Better. We were looking to get a lower interest rate on a 15 year refi. We got an incredibly low interest rate. I was able to upload all my documents quickly and stayed on top of all the tasks requested throughout the process. We closed in 14 days from the start of the application and the process completed and loan funded on day 19!! Customer service was efficient and prompt. I have recommended them to other colleagues interested in refi.

I saw the high rating- and called- I told them I would need a non-conforming loan - and that I was in a mixed use building- hotel on the bottom and condos on top - ( floors 10 thru 18 ).. They said the would handle it- they sent me favorable interest rates - they said I would not have to do a JUMBO- so that also saves some money. After a few conversations held with these representatives, I decided BETTER was the right option. Honest, diligent, and professional. These guys were there at any time to answer my questions. Omar was relentlessly willing to do all he could to get me the right deal. Misty and Tara facilitated as well. Rob, who came in at the end, played his role. 0 stars. 5 piles of ******** is more appropriate. There was nothing “better” about this company. We are very disappointed in the whole experience. We were mislead and told all was good all the way to closing day. Then on that day, they fail and we didn’t close. Read the negative reviews, avoid this company, and work with a local company with people that actually care. We closed in two weeks from that day with another “Local” company no problems! Don’t do it! “Better” is worse, in this case.

It was very easy.Every step they were always available informative and friendly.Other lenders could not match them and tried to talk me out of using them.I am glad I didnt fall for their scare tactics.They were very professional and respectful of all my questions and concerns.Definitely would recommend them.

Better.com was the most cost effective option I could find. Their customer service was personalized and 100% online. They use a very simple and efficient interface which made paperwork very easy to accesses, upload, review, and track. Time and responsiveness was clearly their priority. I Definitely recommend them. The pre-approval process here is predatory and should be audited. For a self employed business owner they do not require any tax documents or profit and loss statements for this process. This helps then generate leads at the expense of damages incurred to potential borrowers. There are thousands of potential pitfalls to securing a ****** ***loan as a self employed individual, this risk needs to be disclosed to pre-approval applicants up front before they put themself in a position to incur financial damages.
