I had a pleasant experience closing my first home with Better. Though many of my friends suggested I should not go with outside lenders, I chose Better and it worked for me. The team that worked on my loan was very attentive and provided timely support. I was able to get the new home keys within a few hours of closing. I will go with Better if I plan to buy my next house.

very deceitful will make you complete an application and give extremely high-interest rates. better not waste your time. on top of the false advertising saying they will match rates. They will not!

This is our second time with Better. Excellent experience. The online process has been very efficient. The home advisors assigned to our cases are very professional and extremely helpful. Pleased with the overall process.

Wonderful experience with my loan officer. He kept me abreast of all tasks at hand and which ones needed immediate attention. He also negotiated with the underwriter who was asking for info not applicable to loan approval. Love the web based tool, very easy to follow and visibility to see whats next..also, I was shopping for a loan and Better was able to provide the lowest fees when comparing to other companies.

Description of Complaint:I applied to Better Mortgage for a refinancing of the mortgage loan on the rental property that has been held in my late husband's trust for over 12 years. They gave me pre-approval and a loan estimate. Then, they started demanding over and over again that the loan had to be closed in my trust, not my late husband's trust. Better - well, the process was better than any other processor we have used to secure our home loans. In a market of options and forgotten customer service. The ********************** Team did an amazing job. The Team was very helpful in our process and using very easy / clean application for the entire process was a nice change. Ive used Better twice and have had great experiences both times. From start to finish the process was smooth and the communication great. I always knew what to do next. The online tool that tracks your tasks is very user-friendly. I would definitely use Better again.
