I brought my father back from a perfectly competent carehome, but where he was very unhappy simply because he was away from his own house. He was with family for eight days before passing. Two staff from Bluebird came 4 times a day to see to him. We never managed to get a hospital style bed installed, but the Bluebirds never complained about having to kneel or bend excessively to do their work. The Bluebird carers provide excellent at home support for my father, who has dementia. They have been helpful, supportive, patient and caring. Bluebird has been flexible in adapting support to meet my father's changing needs, and have promptly made changes we requested, which has been a real help for both my parents. The office team have been very supportive and responsive throughout.

I am so grateful for bluebird care. They have made it possible for my father with dementia to stay at home as he wished, first by having carers visit twice a day for a year, and now with his condition progressing by having a full time live in carer. The Bluebird Carers have been absolutely excellent and they have helped me enormously in my recovery from my broken shoulder. Thank you all very much indeed. There were one or two occasions during the last couple of weeks when the Carer arrived too late and I had to get myself washed and dressed as I had visitors/cleaners coming - but this is a very minor criticism and I have been very impressed by the care and professionalism all the Carers have shown me.

This was my wife's and my first experience of care (needed because I was receiving a hospital day procedure), so we were somewhat anxious about how it would be. In the event, the assessment from the Care Coordinator was careful and professional, and the care provided to my wife by the Bluebird carer was excellent. The Carer was warm, skilled, my wife felt treated with dignity. When I returned from hospital I found my wife and the Carer playing Scrabble together. We engaged Bluebird Care to support us in looking after our Father after he suffered a back injury. Our father is 94 years old and has been fiercely independent all his life. His recent injury meant that he could no longer continue to live independently, in particular requiring 24 hours care which my sister and I could not provide. The dementia advisor is very helpful and has come up with some good activity suggestions. She also provides general good all round advice based on her experience of working with other Dementia sufferers.

Found a very good permanent carer to meet the needs of my Dad. Varied experience leading up to the permanent placement but very happy with the care and attention he's now receiving. Good communication with care provider.
