I installed 60 gallon gas heater while remodeling our home after Hurricane Katrina flooded our neighborhood. The Bradford White water heater was installed 12 / 2006. My FORD WHITE 50 GAL WATER HEATER WAS INSTALL JUNE 2007 AND LASTRD UNTILL JULY 2023. 16 YEARS. WONDERFUL PRODUCT AND I JUST REPLACED WITH ANOTHER BRADFORD WHITE 50 GAL HEATER.. WHAT MORE NEEDS TO BE SAID!!!
Just replaced a Bradford White that was installed 4 years ago. It short circuited where the reset button was and caught the insulation on fire. I was 6 months out before the warranty would run out. They replaced it free of charge, but I did have to pay to have it installed. Received the same model as the last, hope it lasts longer than the previous.
I had my Bradford White Gas Water heater for 10 years. It had a leak and was off warrantee so I paid full price for a new one. I thought they lasted longer than 10 years. The warrantee was for just 7 years.
WARNING: be careful of plumbers that offer you a good deal, found out mine was sold as a off warranty repair. This time used the Bradford reference for contractor service of Bradford. I used a contractor off this page, Heritage West Plumbing was amazing, honest, tried to fix the issue with the fraudulent plumber tank they sold us. Regardless, great product, great installers. My Brander White Water Heater was installed in 2003. 20 years and no leaks. I have only had it serviced once. WOW...Long lasting for sure. And we still have lots of hot water in our household. Start to look for a new one now however as 20 years is pushing my luck. Great Product.
I just had the previous Bradford White water heater replaced that had been installed in 2006. This is as of January 26, 2023. Over 17 years! I've lived in this house since 2012. Perhaps if I had drained it annually, like recommended, it would have lasted longer. I am glad the plumber chose to replace with the same/current model Bradford White tank. Hoping for equally good service and time with the new model.
I bought my 106 year old house 5 years ago, never bothered to look at the water heater. I just went out to turn up the temp because it's cold out. I was curious how old it was. Turns out it was manufactured in 2003 and it's almost 2023! This thing is 20 years old and still running strong. Super Impressive! If I ever have to swap it, definitely going Bradford white again!
The 40 gal Bradford White (gas) Water Heater, Model # M140T6FBN I replaced in Dec. 2022 was installed new in 2009. It lasted +13 years before it began leaking. Perhaps if I had consistently followed the Manu factor's recommendations to drain the tank once a year (to eliminate mineral deposits it would have lasted much longer. Still plus 10 years for any Water Heater is a good testimony for this product.
