Good heaters, this one replaced a Bradford White heater that lasted 10 years. Only problem was we went through 2 Honeywell regulators and was on the third one when heater went out.

We were sold and installed a 50-gallon Bradford White water heater and were told it was suitable for a family of six. In practice, this has not been true at all. After repeated issues with running out of hot water, we contacted the company and spoke directly with their technician. The technician stated that only about 35 gallons of the 50-gallon tank is usable hot water, and that this equates to approximately 19 minutes of shower time total. Second unit put in, first was leaking now the second the hot water doesn't last get luke warm quick. What a waste of money.
We had a bradford white residential home water heater. We purchased our home in 2021, custom built. Just replaced with this piece of crap bradford white water heater,1/21/26. Piece of crap was built with in ferrous fittings, founds galvanic corrosion at the interior and exterior pipe fittings. Reason for the hot water leaking. DO NOT BUY THIS WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP!! BUY RHEEM!
Energy cost remains high even in the Heat Pump Only mode PLUS even with a 50 gallon water tank we run out of hot water with a shower lasting more than 12 minutes. Hardly enough time to wash my hair and shave my legs. Then my husband has luke warm water for his shower. We can get two showers in our motorhome with a 7 gallon hot water tank. I had a Bradford water heater installed in March 2021. The anode rotted out this past year and had to be replaced. Both heating elements failed this week. The heater came with a six year warranty but Bradford refuses to honor their warranty so this latest repair bill is just short of $800. For two or three hundred dollars more I could get a brand new water heater, but it will never be another Bradford
Brand new Bradford White gas water heater less than 4 months old. Loudly clangs all the time- like an old water heater. You can hear it upstairs. Plumber adjusted the ballast with no reduction of noise. It replaced a quiet A.O Smith. Very disappointed with the heater. BW needs to replace it or find a fix.
Installed a brand new fifty gallon natural gas for a client today. After install found the control valve leaking gas and the thermal couple on the pilot assembly not assembled correctly. Ok I’m sure it’s a one off, not a big deal however when dealing with the warranty service they said that they were only responsible for parts and not labor. Trouble shooting, driving to get parts and fix the bad manufacturing job on this tank added 2.5 hours of labor that the company said I needed to push onto the client, entirely unethical.... read more
