OK… So I have had my Bradford white for 22 years (still running) only replacing due to a home remodel. I have never had an issue with my current unit. What an amazing product. Now its off to purchase my next.

Great water heater backed up good customer service. I recommended the company to my neighbors and we have all enjoyed our hot water. Called once about an issue but was taken care of the same day.
This story is hard to believe, but true! I just replaced my Redi-Hot water heater that was manufactured by Bradford White Corporation. This water heater was over 40 years old.........yes over 40 years old. To say I was satisfied is an understatement, hopefully with my new one I can get half that many years? The one thing that was done to help the longevity of the water heater was to drain the tank once a year! Thanks for 40 plus years of great hot water Redi Hot!!
Good heaters, this one replaced a Bradford White heater that lasted 10 years. Only problem was we went through 2 Honeywell regulators and was on the third one when heater went out.

We had to buy two new 40 gallon water heaters for our house. They were installed in April of 2021, they have both gone out this year, not even making it through the 6 year warranty period. Turns out the company off loaded the ones we have because the laws for components changed but they don't keep any spare parts for ones recently installed. We have never had one, let alone two water heaters go out in one year, let alone within the warranty period. Basically they are saying you lose sucker! Our plumber is going to have to co... read more
I bought two 40 gal gas Bradford White water heaters in 2021, with 6 year warranty. BOTH of the heaters had problems with their ICON controllers, that needed to be replaced. Although under warranty, I had to pay for their technician to install it, at my cost for labor. In 2026, the controller went bad again with one of the heaters, and I had to go through my plumber, who said he'd put in a new one for cost of labor-- 3 hours at $200+/hour! JUNK!!! On hot water heater#3!!! They refuse to cover it under warranty. I can't help it was defective! I have had to replace my hot water heater every 3-4 years. Absolute junk, do not buy! Customer service was terrible as well. If I could give it negative stars I would!
