I have a New Installation Bradford White Water Heater. Attached to the Front is ICON System Gas Control Module/Water Temp Settings. I read Pg. 20 of the Installation/Operation Manual gives No Guidance on Water Temp Settings except to say Clockwise for Warmer Water and Counter-Clockwise for Cooler Water. There are Intermediate Graduations where no Approx Temp Settings are given. You can Do Better on an Explanation.
I have a 10 year old Bradford White Hydrojet, which was putting out great hot water over the years until recently. I have turned up the temp setting to the second to the last notch. Still not that much hot water after a shower. Any Ideas? Thank you, Mike
OK… So I have had my Bradford white for 22 years (still running) only replacing due to a home remodel. I have never had an issue with my current unit. What an amazing product. Now its off to purchase my next.

This story is hard to believe, but true! I just replaced my Redi-Hot water heater that was manufactured by Bradford White Corporation. This water heater was over 40 years old.........yes over 40 years old. To say I was satisfied is an understatement, hopefully with my new one I can get half that many years? The one thing that was done to help the longevity of the water heater was to drain the tank once a year! Thanks for 40 plus years of great hot water Redi Hot!!
Good heaters, this one replaced a Bradford White heater that lasted 10 years. Only problem was we went through 2 Honeywell regulators and was on the third one when heater went out.
