Works well but needed a new control valve after 5 years. Part was covered under warranty but not labor. Cost me $422 in labor.
I have a 12 year old BW gas water heater. Never had an issue with it. replacing with heat pump water heater due to age--not any problems--as well as energy efficiency and available rebates. I was open to any brand, but contractor recommended BW Aero therm unit without hesitation.
The Bradford White Water Heater runs on natural gas and there's also a water softener connected to it. It was installed in May 2017 and is running without problems. Because of the quit carbon movement, I'm thinking of getting a heat pump water heater, which is fully electric, in the future.
We have a BW 50 gallon gas water heater. It was installed in 1994 when we built our house and it's still working fine on well water with a water softener.
I have a 40 gallon Bradford White that was installed in 2008. Still going strong even though I'm on well water. I want to replace it before it gives out, but it's working perfectly. I definitely recommend this water heater!
We had a 50 gallon power vented gas water heater installed in 2010. It is still working fine, no leaks no problems, we have well water. Starting to think about replacing it. Will definitely go with another Bradford White!
I got a new Bradford White hot water tank from Blue Planet Plumbing Heating and Drains and it's been very reliable so far. More hot water production than the old one & installation was 2 hours. Blue Planet was about $500 cheaper than the other 6 quotes I recieved so get it from them. But ya after doing some research I found that Bradford White was the most recommended tank by Plumbers and home owners alike. So it was an easy decision.

My home I purchased in 2018 has a Bradford 50 gal electric unit. The unit was produced in January of 2007. My home is also on an unfiltered well, !9 years she has been running, and still working fine. I'm just looking for now to upgrade to a new unit, but after seeing some of the comments on other peoples longevity with their units, I'm now wondering what the rush is for me.
