The front desk staff has been replaced for some reason with inadequate help that caused my dogs meds to not be filled in time and now sick. They have gone from 5 stars down to 2. There is no reason for me to drive the extra distance any more. Bring back your rockstar front desk please.
Have you read of Dr. keep having patient come back for more visits so they can make more $$ for things that can usually taken care of in one visit? And the worse, after 2 visits, my dog's issue was still not address and told to come back for the 3rd time. This is what happened to me at this place and you should be alarm before you chose them. We are welcoming a new puppy into our home in a week and are looking for a vet. I called five a clinics to price compare and get a feel for the staff. Everyplace seemed really good so it's going to be hard to decide. The exception was Brownfield.They are definitely out of the running.The person answering the phone this morning was obviously rushed and stressed. I used to love this place (and my dog too) but after a while I started to notice a pattern. They love to ask me to come back for more visits and charge me a lot of money. Ex: my dog needs the influenza vaccine to be allowed in a kennel. This place charges me $175 for this. COMPLETE RIPP-OFF. Somehow I need a visit to vaccine my dog to make sure that my dog is ok before being vaccinated. MY DOG IS PERFECTLY FINE. STOP THE BS!! Do not recommend. Been a longtime client, but have decided to find a new vet. Care is good, but more and more frequently it is difficult to make an appointment unless you can wait a few days, and often takes 1 or 2 days to get prescriptions renewed. They would appear to have far more patients than they have the resources to handle them. It pains me to have to leave a review since we have been with them for years. We really liked our vets but there are high turnover so don't get attached to any one of them. The most frustrating thing for me recently is the front desk. I have called three times in the past week about prescription call to Costco and promised twice with calls to confirm and one to text. Let me say right up front that I'm having a difficult time choosing the appropriate star rating. My dog ripped half of her dewclaw off at Marymoor and I took her to Brookfield, since it's so close. They were all booked up, but the amazingly friendly staff was able to squeeze us in (5 stars)! They were able to check out and treat the damaged claw very quickly and even honor the $10 Yelp coupon (5 stars)! They never have appointments even in emergency circumstances they just say they are full and basically won't do anything for you. Glad to know I chose a vet that doesn't really care about my animals.
My review is based on my experience from a few years ago, and I sincerely hope that things have improved since then. Although I was a client for a decade, I lost faith in Brookfield and haven't been back in two years. I loved Brookfield, and my favorite vet was Dr Marie, who I trusted with my furbabies.
