Dr Howard's is too focused on excessive tests and dragging in patients for paid appointments that could readily be handled in a 3 minute phone call
I did not get a chance to meet Dr. Neumann. He was the GI Doctor on call on Oct. 20, 2019 at approx. 8:00pm for Harborview Emergency. He was called to come in. My husband was choking on a piece of food lodged in his esophagus and could not swallow anything and was gagging and spitting up for at least 3hrs. before they called Dr. Neumann. She was patronizing and disparaged any issues brought up, yet she immediately ordered both upper & lower endoscopy at first visit. Doctors at Capital Digestive Care have an investment stake in the endoscopy center...

Poor service treated me like a second rate citizen and dropped me as a patient. She doesn’t listen to what your trying to explain at all also. Just best to sit and just answer questions asked if you ask more she will get mad
My husband got no affordable treatment recommended for what was considered IBS but in hindsite may be cancer, as now he has liver masses. He still feels like he is getting kicked in the gut by a horse every time he eats, which he really can't at this point. Dr. Williams is very personable but perhaps too busy to take serious complaints seriously. His staff is very friendly and all seem very kind there but if I had it to do over I'd go to a Doctor who speaks English as a first language and has more time to really sit, listen ... read more

I had the same ordeal with Dr. Howard couple years ago. Very dismissive of you symptoms but will ALWAYS order a colonoscopy. She's arrogant and misinformed. I said I think i have bacterial overgrowth in my small intestine(SIBO). She told me bacterial overgrowth in my digestive systems means I have HIV! After the colonoscopy she just said your colon is fine and sent me on my way. I would not recommend her.
I ended up in the ER after getting a colonoscopy by her. ALL the doctors think she did it on purpose and suggested I report her immediately and seek an attorney. I filed a complaint with the Medical Board but they didn't keep it on record. The attorney said because her colleagues were able to repair the damage she caused I couldn't sue her. DO NOT TRUST HER
