Only gave one star since zero stars isn't an option. This person was outrageously condescending and dismissive, wouldn't look at the test results from my recent hospitalization for gastrointestinal distress, ignored my paperwork from another gastroenterologist about an ongoing condition, threw my paperwork in my face and WROTE ME A PRESCRIPTION FOR ANTIDEPRESSANTS. Misogynistic, combative, rude and most importantly a complete failure at meeting his hippocratic oath.
Diagnostic process SOLELY based on whatever can be gleaned from patient's historical records (with loss of privacy in medical system, medical records are available w/o patient's consent). Dismissive and insensitive to patient's concerns, questions, or thoughts on his/her condition. Medication prescribed without concern for side effects or follow-up. Recommended treatment is are costly procedures, without an exploration of other options or medications.
Very patriarchal in manner. Insensitive and dismissive to patient's concerns, questions, or thoughts on condition. Diagnostic process and medical conclusions based SOLELY on whatever gleaned from patient's historical records. Absolutely no exploration of other options or medications to medical conditions. 1 size fits all approach. Colonoscopy, colonoscopy, colonoscopy.
I have never experienced poor quality of patient care as I have with Dr. Collier. When I saw him, I had been battling an extreme gastrointestinal issue for several months. He ignored my description of the symptoms. He forgot my symptoms every time I saw him, ignored me when I did tell them to him, and repeated tests I already received instead of giving me new tests for my issues. I will never see him or visit Capital Digestive Care ever again. My health issues have been going on for over a year.
Would not recommend. My allergy specialist provided in-depth info & diagnosis into what was causing lifetime of “indigestion”: food allergies + esophagus disorder (long name starts w/ “e”). Basically throat was closing up. POOR follow up by White. Good friend also patient, several years treated for diverticulitis. Her last visit for severe abdominal pain was given meds & told wasn’t her gall bladder. 12 hours later ER tests confirmed her gall bladder had to go. Needless to say so did White...
Dr Koff does not return calls concerning test .results. Had to get another physician to intervene to find out results. Staff on phone were courteous but they cannot give out results.
He only spent 2 minutes with me -- and it was our first visit. He ordered an EGD (endoscopy) procedure, and that was it. In a rush.
I waited close to 40 minutes for Dr. Chandler to arrive. He spent no more than 5 minutes with me and I left my visit with no solution. I have horrible digestive issues and wanted to find the root of my problem and in the meantime some relief. He told me digestive problems are tricky and to let nature takes its course. He was useless.
The worst doctor ever, I had to call her almost 9 times, when she told me that she would call me back, then she blamed everything on the receptionist. Never helped me at all.
