This is a fabulous, extremely professional vetrinary clinic. We're new to the area and needed a vet for our fur-child, and we're so happy that Yelp directed us to Caring Hands! Dr. Murphy and her assistant put our skittish girl at ease, answered all of our questions, and patiently addressed our concerns. Kathy at the front desk welcomed us and made us all feel at home. We feel quite lucky to have found this clinic.

I am a happy parent! Just a great experience all around. I turned to Yelp to help me find a new vet for my dog since we had recently relocated and she was due for her annual checkup. I'm always a little wary when I take my dogs to a new vet but Caring Hands made us feel welcomed right from the start. From beginning to end, I was impressed by the high quality of services I received at Helping Hands Animal Hospital in Merrifield. I wound up visiting them several times during the same week. During each stage of my visit, the Caring Hands personnel were kind and made me feel at ease during an extremely stressful period. I was especially impressed by Drs. Dr. Richards and her staff maintain a very high standard of care that is evident from the ambiance, the moment you enter their clinic. Alert, responsive, caring reception, staff assistance in a state of the art facility thoughtfully designed and managed to accommodate pets and their care-takers. Our cat has never seemed to like visiting a vet, but is less so at this vet hospital.

I cannot overstate how happy we are to have Dr. Richards as our vet. When our German Shepherd developed a terminal illness last year, Dr. Richards and the staff at Caring Hands were compassionate and enormously helpful, doing everything they could to make our beloved dog comfortable until the very end. We've had nothing but great experiences with Dr Richards at Caring Hands. I have been to other Caring Hands branches in the past and my experience did not compare to the that Dr Richards provided at the Merrifield location. We've been bringing our puppy there from the beginning. She goes out of her way to make sure your pet is getting the best care possible.

My sister recommended that i check out Caring Hands when I adopted my dog Meeko. I eventually did after he ate a blanket, my underwear, his bed, etc. The team at Caring Hands was very understanding and helpful while Meeko was at their clinic. Dr. Richards was especially helpful when it came to explaining my options about surgery and in the end we did not have to do surgery (thank the Lord) and my little Meeko went home feeling better. What can I say about Dr. Richards that others haven't already? We brought our sweet (and very ill) dog Darby to Dr. Richards and she is the most caring, accessible, trustworthy vet I have ever worked with- we can't thank her and her staff enough for the excellent care we received at Caring Hands!

If I could give this clinic 10 stars I would! Our pug has diabetes and epilepsy. It's been a nightmare these last few months getting them under control. Every time I call, I get an answer or a call right back. We've been for emergency visits during the day and they are so awesome about bringing you back and taking care of you in the crisis.
