I had been taking my dog Duncan there for 5+years. to date everything had been great. but then I did the horrible thing of moving to Florida. Duncan flea and tick medince was lost, as I am disabled recovering from knee surgery . I call MY VET OF FIVE YEARS, to get supplemental medicine. I was first told no, he has to come in. I said WE MOVED TO FLORIDA, so that aint happening. I called on a Saturday morning to put down my cat who is a patient and I was told there was no room in the schedule for the whole entire rest of the day and they asked me if I could bring in my dieing cat on Monday instead because they were full and closed on Sunday. When I sobbingly said he collapsed and didn't have till Monday, as he was actively dieing. I was told to call an emergency vet and there was nothing they could do to help me.

Nasty horrible customer service there. I was trying to speak with a representative there and she was not listening to my question she was over talking me and then when I was speaking louder, she said I'm not gonna talk to you with you yelling at me and she hung up the phone on me. This is what day this is how they treat their customers not a very good company at all.the lady would not provide her name but the 2 ladies that answer the phone are Kelsey and Courtney one of them rudely hung the phone up on me!
I used to trust Caring Hands Animal Hospital, but after today, I will never return. I've taken my two cats to this clinic for years and had good experiences - until now. Today, I brought my cat in for a specific issue: his nails looked strange, and I wanted the doctor to check them. I would not recommend this vey to anyone. I brought my dog in they misdiagnosed him and when I brought him back they wanted to recharge me for another visit when they missed the problem the first time. Next my dog had an ear infection and when it didn't clear up they redid the cytology and recharged for another exam instead of just dispensing more medicine! They will find a way to up-charge you so the simplest appointment runs into the hundreds. AVOID

This animal hospital is presented well. But like all things in life its who you deal with (People). I brought my small 10 year old dog for a consultation as he had ear infection, infection his skin that spread from the ear, overlong nails, etc. They missed the large skin infection above the ear in 1st exam that day. So I brought him back 30 minutes later to show them to ensure I get right advice on how to treat the skin cut/'infection/spread. I just got off of the phone with these crooks. They saw my cat before the epidemic and diagnosed her with UTI issues and prescribed the Hills Science Diet. I've had it regularly delivered from Chewy's with no problem. Now, some of her food got contaminated and I need to order it earlier. So, Chewy's has to call CHAH, who refuses to authorize the food until I bring my cat back in for another visit. Mind you now, crystals in cat's urine doesn't resolve itself over time. I switched to this vet because it got such great reviews and is closer to my house. It has been a disappointment. I have pointed out skin conditions and lumps and bumps on my older dog. They tell me it isn't a problem. For the skin condition and I had to bring her back after my initial appointment and demand some treatment because she was losing so much hair.
